Does anyone collect atty's/batteries?

I am not a modder but have read countless posts of people who just "chuck" an atty when it starts to get sluggish, drops off, dies, etc.
& posts of people who throw batteries out, disect them out of curiosity, throw them away, turn them into "art", etc

If I knew anything about modding or had multiple models of PV's I would request for people to send their atty's/batteries...

Have any of you that mod posted a request like this? I mean, maybe even offer a sample bottle of liquid for every 3 pieces sent... I mean, having them for parts to use versus someone throwing them out...

I was just wondering... I seem to be the type that would rather find an alternate use IF one could be found...

Oh! Or even offer to build a mod if they sent you the hardcore parts... and maybe a shipping fee...
It could just be for bragging rights... Take a pic of what your creation turned into and post for all to see...

I have kept every on I ever had. I think it is just in case I ever need a part from one or something. I even have old ones that I no longer have batts or atts for!?
