hi everyone. My name is nitemayor and I am a smoker...
Finally ready to make the switch then found out just now the company I was sold on has suspended new orders. Is Cigavette gonzo? That's quite problematic since their vape machines run off their own pre-filled cartridges.
If they did tank, could someone recommend a similar big nicotine, big plume, big rechargeable battery, no frills substitute?

hi @nitemayor and welcome to the forum. I had not heard of that company before. But.... I tried the cig a likes and they didn't work for me. Another issue can be the companies that sell proprietary gear are usually over priced compared to other brands of similar build and quality.

If you're wanting to quit I'd recommend the iStick 30 watt mod (battery) and the Aspire Nautilus Mini tank.

There are literally hundreds of "mods" (the battery) and tanks (atomizers) from which to choose.

Here are some links for shopping:

Hi and welcome. I have no idea about the company, sorry. That said, I wouldn't recommend pre-filled cartridges to anybody. A refillable tank is more versitile and usually better gear. And iStick and a Nautilus, as @Sir2fyablyNutz recommends, is an excellent place to start.

Thanks all. Since joining ECF 3 hrs ago, I've been on an intensive web/youtube based educational trip...resulting in enlightenment of the vast vaporous universe and a revised option wishlist. I've narrowed it down to about 5 models from various brands. Ironically, I'll have a smoke while I make my decision. Talk at you again soon, --nitemayor

To be honest, unless the company you mention has kept your money, you have dodged a bullet @nitemayor
Brand e-cigs are often tragically bad and crazily expensive.
Also, brand e-cigs like to cover huge areas of the internet with dubious reviews, fake recommendations and goodness knows what else.

(We know what else, but publicly pointing out how they do business and how they 'twist' the internet is not easily achieved).

Paying $119.99 for a $29.99 e-cig kit is not the way forward. Trust us on this.

I think you got lucky. :)
