Does anyone know where I can find any specific laws, or lack thereof, on vaping indoors for Tennessee?

Just curious, since the ban on smoking indoors made my occasional desire to go out with friends to drink non-existent (probably led to me quitting, honestly, so maybe I should thank them). But the ability to vape indoors might lead me to being more social again (pretty much just keep to myself these days, starting to get boring).

I looked all over google for you and found nothing and I'm taking it you have done the same, so to tell you the truth I wouldn't know. I was vaping at the bar in the downtown club here and someone actually told me "I could not do that in here"... so I stopped. Not even 5 min went by and the same guy came up and apologized as I think he asked a higher up and basically told him you can't be doing this.

I think that a private business owners can ban this at their own business but then again, I'm not sure

Hope this helps

According to the Proposed Bill ecigs we be treated as - "It is an offense to distribute or sell any product or device containing or delivering nicotine intended or expected for human consumption that is not a tobacco product, as defined in § 39-17-1503, unless such product or device has been approved by the United States food and drug administration for sale as a tobacco use cessation or harm reduction product or for other medical purposes and is being marketed and sold solely for that approved purpose".

Funny how we have bans on being able to smoke in a bar, but we still have laws proposed like this, ever-so-clearly there to prop up the tobacco industry. Lobbyist dollars, gotta love 'em.
