Hi,

Just curious, does anyone with experience actually prefer tanks to RDAs?

For me, I vacillate between the two, but I find myself using tanks more; ProTank 2, AeroTank and Tatroe tank. I like the simplicity and not having to carry around liquid all the time. Kayfuns are more hassle (for me) than I am willing to invest.

Do I prefer the flavor of an RDA? Sometimes, but not always. Plus, I prefer a bit less throat hit and the tanks give me that.

Anyway, this thread is not to pass judgement. It's simply a question for other vapors. :)

Carry on....

I prefer tanks when I'm driving, or busy and moving around that dripping becomes a hassle and when I'm trying to save juice. When I'm home or out and I can drip, I prefer dripping, for the better flavor, quicker nic fix, not stuck with any flavor, bigger more satisfying vapor, cheaper and easy to rebuild and I can build it to my liking and the coils last longer than tanks designed to purchase coils or cartos.

Me! Drippers are more of a headache to me. I like the fill and forget clearo with a rebuilt hand spun coil.

For several years I used a carto/tank setup. I switched over to Russian 91% or Kayfun 3.1 style RBAs a few months ago. Besides an occasional leak issue, I am completely satisfied. I have a couple RDAs but I hate the spitting hot juice from the airhole and forgetting to drip and the subsequent dry hits that go along. I exclusively dripped the first 2 years using a plain ole 510 atty. I still use one to try new juices.

Dripping doesn't fit with my lifestyle at all. It does taste slightly better to me, but not good enough for me to abandon more convenient ways to vape. I never liked clearos, and went through so many trying to find the taste that I was after. Then I tried a cartotank, and I was happy with that for quite some time. They leaked less, had less troubleshooting, which was important with 12 hour workdays and two kids when I got home. I don't have much time to spend on this hobby, although I have made it a hobby. As it is a hobby of mine, although I was happy with the cartotanks, I decided to work my way through at least one of each style of rebuildable toppper. A Nimbus clone for a dripper, a Kracken clone for a genesis style tank and finally the Kayfun. The Kayfun is my fav topper of them all.
