This is slightly offtopic, but I thought it might be of interest. My bf vapes the 48mg MarlyB, and he did some online browsing to find out how much nicotine is safe for daily consumption. I'll try to find and link the info if it's not already available on this forum. Anyway, here's some data:
Research has pointed out that a person can safely consume about 48mg of nicotine a day, maximum.
A cigarette usually give a user between 1.5-2mg of nicotine.
48mg of nicotine in an e-liquid means it's 48mg per 1ml, which is about
20 drops.
Nicotine in an e-liquid isn't absorbed as efficiently as smoking an actual cigarette, but to be on the safe side, you could assume that you are getting all the nicotine out of the e-liquid.
So if you're vaping 48mg e-liquids, if you count out 20 drops, that's a safe daily dose. Going with that formula, if you're vaping 24mg e-liquid, then 40 drops (2ml) would be your daily dose.
For those of you who have concerns about the amount of nicotine you can safely consume daily, that's the info I've come up with so far. Most users on this forum (including me) usually go by gut feeling - if you feel nausea, headaches, shaking/fidgeting, basically just an uncomfortable feeling, that's a sign you're getting too much nicotine, so you'll naturally slow down. Your body will help you regulate your nicotine intake.
However, in times of high stress, it's very easy to keep vaping, beyond the nausea, the headaches, etc. Since you can vape faster and more often than smoking a real cigarette, it's something to think about - before you start stressing and vaping like a madman.
Some food for thought! With that in mind, I'm vaping 48mg Banana Cream right now. Haha
Happy vaping!
