I just started vaping as well and I've had 100% PG from Liberty Flights as well as some 100% VG from V4L. The PG, to me, tastes stronger/more throat hit (almost too much for me at first) whereas the VG was "smoother" and more vape, but less hit. That's not to say all VG is like that (or PG) but for me, for these particular samples, that was my experience. Your mileage may differ.

Just ordered some 80/20 PG/VG mix to try! ;-) Our mail man must think I'm nuts running out like a kid to the mailbox every day to get all these packages, lol.....

Nicotine in 100% PG can get irritating. 100% PG does the least to buffer the irritation and also makes weak vapor. VG dulls the flavor and nicotine throat hit and smooths the irritation while adding more vapor. Even 10% VG will add more vapor.

But I started on 100% PG. It did get irritating (some get sore mouth, tongue, throat, or even lungs). I switched to 70PG/30VG juices (I bought them that way) and then when I started using cartomizers I eventually switched to 10-20% VG instead (soaked in easier, made my cartos last longer).

If you add VG to your juice it will also dilute the flavor and nicotine strength. But you could add some. Just make sure it is 100% vegetable glycerine, not random drugstore USP glycerin because USP allows animal glycerine too which does not taste good for vaping. I wouldn't add more the 10% unless you need to.

I occasionally vape 100% PG juice now that my nicotine is lower, but not as one of my main juices.

Funny you ask that question today. I just got my first all pg juice in the mail this morning: Dekang dk-tab (24mg). I've been vaping it for about 2 hours and enjoying it. The vapor cloud is thinner and a tad more TH, but again, still very nice. I usually vape a 50/50 or 70pg/30vg.

cheers,

Great. Thanks for all the input.
At least I know it isn't going to be a *bad* experience, just different than with some VG.I don't want to be turned off my first vaping experience because of it. Maybe I'll just order some 80/20 online once I have my kit for a few days and see what else I'll want accessory wise.
