Reading a lot here and it seems that most people refill their carts a few times before tossing them. I'm using a KR808D-1 as well but I'm not sure I want to get into the whole refilling thing. Is it a big pain to do? I know it will save money in the long run, but is it not easier to just buy carts? FWIW I get about 2 days out of a cart as it stands now.
Does everyone refill their KR808D-1 carts?

you know the rubber endcaps that come with cartomizers? you fill one up with 15 or so drops of juice, and then slowly push the cartomizer into it from the mouthpiece end, then wipe off the excess juice. That's the 'condom refill method.'

I refill at least 3 times, then clean them and use them again, I have some that have been cleaned and used over 20 times.

The syringe thing looks like a hassle to me. I found the best way to be to put a .... plug in the battery end, pop off the white cap and clear o ring, fill it to the top, do the Taryn spin, do it again and it's good for all day. Just took minute.
For a while now I have been using bank cartomizers exclusively and filling them with my favorite juice. I never wash them; however, some people do. I generally can get between 3 and 30 refills depending on the cartomizer itself and on the juice (generally darker juices “clog” them much faster). I tried every refilling method and in my opinion the condom method is the easiest (literally 5 seconds).
Think I may give the condom method a go. Watched a few videos on it and it doesn't look to terrible. Next question is how do I know when a cart is bad and needs to be tossed? I'm assuming the vape won't be as good and the taste will be off?
+1 on mwhale1: it either draws really hard or it tastes burnt, even after rinsing/drying/refilling.

I am a simple kind of guy. New or cleaned out carts get 3/4 a condom, dirty but empy gets 1/2 a condom. Once filled just shake towards the battery end with a flick of the wrist ( makes sure and not get extra juice in my mouth) wipe off the sides and ends and I am good for at least half a day with that one. Simple to do and takes 20 seconds from start to finish easily.

I take of the platic tip and the o-ring, make a hole in a the condoms they come with put it over the top and vape it like that. So when i need to refill i just take off the condom put some drops in and put it back on and i can start vaping 
lol, I do it while driving......one hand on top of steering wheel holding condom.....other hand holding bottle of juice inverted.....drip a half dozen drops while keeping tip of bottle inside condom to prevent spills....stick carto in condom.....leave it there to soak in while you recap the bottle of juice......pull it out, wipe it off, screw it on......vape.......
I have given up on washing them, just refill and then toss it when it gets bad.
I boil mine out and bake them in the oven at 170 for 15 mins. I get many many re-uses out of them this way.
I refill and will be doing my first cart cleaning in the next few days. I've also got some 36 mg carts that I need to rinse out, too strong for me. I'll re-fill them with the same juice, just at 18 mg this time.
Terrie, how well does the adhesive sticker on the cartos hold up for you with this method? Do they come loose or stay stuck fairly well? Thanks!
+1 For boiling for 10-15 minutes, especially if there was a strong or nasty vapor used in it. I then let it dry out overnight. (I will have to try the baking idea for a quick dry.)
For a quick clean, hot water and a pediatric syringe is awesome.

I'm curious if this will bring a burned-out cart back to life (probably not). I may or may not try this. (I will probably try it one of these days when I'm desperate and USPS is taking their time delivering supplies like usual.)
