Yes, they use the same head.

How about this, if I love my regular Protanks, can anybody think of why I might not like the minis as much, other than the obvious, that it doesn't hold as much juice?

I'm checking these things b/c I like the regular P-tank so much I have four of them loaded at all times, and having just discovered the joys of zero (or very low) nic vg juice, I'm thinking I'd like to get four of these minis, enough of an investment to inspire some caution.

You can also use the protank bases on the mini's and the other way around, it may look a bit strange but its fully functional.
