Does menthol need to steep?

I am using 10% menthol (PG)from WL trying to taste it mixed with 1ml PG and 1ml VG. At four drops menthol I can't sense it at all. Do I need to let it steep? Have not added nicotine to the mix yet. Want to know how much of the menthol with total to use. I like strong menthol.

What is the consensus using this 10% menthol mix? TIA!!

I've been mixing my own 10% solution using 1 gram of menthol crystals to 10 ml of PV. Using that concentrate I find that if I mix a 30 ml bottle at 5% it's pretty decent right out of the box if you shake the crap out of it for a while...(several times for a couple minutes each time)

You may find 7.5% or even 10% to be what you want but to me 10% is too much...5 to 7.5 is just about right for me. Your PG/VG ratio will also impact the flavor.

There doesn't seem to be any steep time to speak of...a week or two later and the mix tastes the same.

Heat (your volts, ohms, watts) also matters in the menthol effect--crank up my volts and the menthol is much more pronounced.
