Unlikely, though depending on your nic base sometimes it will add a bit of a "peppery" flavor to things.

For a given mix, overall, the nic portion won't subtract from the amount of room for the flavoring. I'm a high flavor person and, even so, flavoring only accounts for about 20% of an eliquid.

More flavor with lower nicotine, but no throat hit.

I bought zero nicotine juice to reduce the nicotine of the same juice that was high nicotine. For the heck of it I tried the zero and lots of flavor, - makes sense because you're not getting that nicotine flavor so it's pretty much just base and all flavoring taste comes through. Zero, zilch TH though.

Looking for an excuse to lower the nic level a little and the consensus seems to be I found one, at least to some degree.

Considering as heavy a smoker as I was and considering all that I've read on the forum. It seems a little peculiar to me how unimportant TH is to me. I'm pretty sure getting that nic fix likely is very important, whether I know it or not.

For me it does.
I recently bought "Gooey Better Cake" from KBV @ 6mg Nic...it's tastes sweet and peppery:( like someone threw a piece of Nicorette in there. Now the stuff smells friggin LOVELY, but as soon as I vape it, BLECH!!
I will definitely be ordering a new bottle of GBC sans Nic, just like my other juices. I truly think that I just can't stand the tase of Nic anymore. the only other juice that I have nic in is my Ice Menthol from Smokeless image. I can only vape that for a few minutes before I start feeling Zesty, lol

Nic level definitely matters in term of flavor.

I happen to like the nic taste (big surprise) but if you had a pinapple juice at zero and a pinapple juice at 24, the zero is going to taste more like pinapple but I like the taste of the juice better with nicotine. It cuts the flavoring taste for me.
