You could always use my California address and have it shipped here. I'd forward it on to you. After a suitable quality test, of course. Wouldn't want to pass on malfunctioning hardware....

I'm sure you would Scott, thanks !!
I see you have two ProVari's.. Anything you've learned to help out on a first order ? I'm a heavy vapor.I'm using an Ego with the booster, 3.0 boges cranked all the way up to 4.7

I guess what I'm asking is should I skip the "kit", and go with the extension and the big batts and charger ? or both ?

I gave away all my shorty batteries and only use the extended. I also got the Pila charger and use that now. I have 6 batteries that I rotate through (6 would give me several days between charging, if it came down to it). I've been using the Boge cartos, also about 3.0 ohm, and I tend to keep it in the 4.0-4.4 volt range. Maybe because I prefer a cooler vape than you do, but it also could be that the power output on a ProVari is different than your eGo. The ProVari uses pulse width modulation to control the voltage, so instead of (for example) the output being a steady 4.0 volts, it cycles on and off very fast - several times a second - between 6.0 volts and 0.0 volts. The amount of time it's on vs. off is what gets you the average voltage. At 3.0 volts, it's on 50% of the time, at 4.0 volts it's on 66% of the time, etc. It's very efficient for a basically analog device like a heating coil, and you may find yourself seeking a lower voltage on your ProVari than you're used to with your eGo.

Actually something interesting about the PWM used in the Provari, is that the Provari has been put on a scope by a couple users, and it shows a flat voltage, not up and down as PWM should show. If I can find the post I will link it.

Really? I wonder if they run it through something else to get that? That's about the only way I can see that happening.

Here's that post: It's post #3812 in that thread if it doesn't take you directly to it. My assumption was that they must use something after PWM to smooth out the waveform.

They have to. You can see the small variance in the voltage that's left from whatever they're doing but that is pretty flat.
