Does Sigelei OLED display use up battery power?

I have the sigelei Zmax Mini--and I love it! There is an option to turn off the Oled display, and I wonder if this increases the duration of the battery? On that note, I have a couple of Efest and a couple AW Imr 18350 batteries--700 and 800 mah. It seems as though they don't last nearly as long as they used to, going from around 5-6 hours to 3-4 hours. Now it IS possible that I've been vaping a little more, but we're talking about going from 2.5 ml to 3.5ml.
lastly, does anyone else ever "catch" their Oled display running across the screen saying "system on"---when it has already BEEN on, and being used for a while?

When the screen is on, yes there will be some battery drain but I don't think it is going to make a noticeable difference to turn the LED off. I leave mine on in resistance mode.

Never had random shutoffs, is your battery not making good contact? I have the telescoping Zmax and use it with 18650 batteries.

Good point...maybe I should clean the contacts. I'll try that. I leave mine in resistance mode, too.

OLEDs use so little power that I very much doubt you would be able to see any difference in battery life.
