does the kgo battery lose charge if you dont do the 5 click off thing after each use?

It shouldn't... you don't have to turn it off after each use, as long as it's in a position where the button wont get pressed.The 5 click off is mainly for pocket/carrying case protection, So it wont fire unwanted.
