Trying to come up with more recipes that use coconut and I'm wondering if you wouldn't mind taking a look at this and seeing if it looks right (yes, I know I could make a small batch, but wanted to run it by you first).
TFA coconut 5%
CAP sweet mango 7%
CAP sweet strawberry 4%
Alternatively, do you have any good coconut/fruit recipes?

I have a recipe a bit like this, with the addition of peach, pineapple and vanilla. So not really that much like this. I think I once converted to percentages, but can't find it right now, so I'll just (re)post my "drops" version:

For ~20 ml, use 17.5 ml of your base, plus

15 drops coconut
12 drops peach
9 drops strawberry
6 drops vanilla tahiti
5 drops mango

To me, the mango in your mix seems maaaaybe high, but if you want it mango-forward, it's just right! Ceeceeisme has done a lot of work with mango in recipes, so if she doesn't notice this, you might dm her.

Re coconut/fruit recipes, here's something wild I haven't tried yet: I found a recipe on elr called Sweet ice Pear Rajá, by GMS:

5% Dulce de Leche (TPA)
1.5% Koolada 10% (TPA)
6% Pear (INAWERA)
5% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TPA)

I made this, and it's too highly flavored for me (though I'm waiting for more steeping to be sure about everything), but I think I'm going to cut it to maybe half the percentages, plus add some coconut. Also either skip the koolada, or just a drop or two. Anyway, something TOTALLY DIFFERENT. :)

I want mainly coconut and mango, so maybe you're right and I should cut it down...but to what? Many thanks!

Looks like a Nice Recipe.

For Me, I would Add some kind of Sweetener to it. But I like Sweet e-liquids.

Moved this from DIY E-Liquid Recipes to DIY E-Liquid as it's not really a completed recipe being shared...it's more of a 'work in progress' :)

Thanks, classy, you're right. Sorry I wasn't paying better attention to where I posted this!

I LOVE sweet juices too! What do you think? 1% of sweetener ?

All depends on the Sweetener.

I like TFA Sweetener. Which is Pure Sucralose in a PG Solution. It doesn't take Much. 5 or 6 Drops of it in a 30ml Bottle can take a Blah e-Liquid to Candy Sweet Central.

If you try TFA Sweetener. Go Slow until you get a Feel for it. And know that there is No Steeping Required. So you can Add a Drop or 2 to a Bottle, Shake, and then Vape.

And if it Isn't sweet enough, Just add another or 2, Shake and Repeat.

Here is a recipe I originally got from @JCinFLA

I've changed it substantially from the original version but I sure do vape a lot of this stuff. I think she called it Hawaiian Delight. Maybe she'll pop in and give you the original (which is a pretty good shake 'n vape).

I call my altered version:

Hawaiian Delights with Tangerine
LA Banana Cream 2%
TFA Coconut Candy 1%
TFA Coconut Extra 1%
TFA Marshmallow 4%
CAP Golden Pineapple 2%
TFA Strawberry Ripe 2%
CAP Sweet Strawberry 4%
CAP Sweet Tangerine 1%

You can add 1% TFA Sweetener if you like but it's pretty sweet just as it is.
This can vape quite nicely as a shake 'n vape but I like it to age for at least a week or two.

Thanks for the shout out! Your version looks good, too!

Here's what my Hawaiian Delights takes (all TFA):

DX Coconut - 4%
Pineapple - 4%
DX Banana Cream - 3.5%
Sweet Cream - 2%
Sweetener - 2.5%

Only thing it has in common with the OP's recipe though is the Coconut.

Here's 1 that I call Tropical Flamingo...has Coconut, Strawberry, Sweetener and Peach in it. It's another S&V that's a favorite of some friends, too. It's a higher total flavoring % than Hawaiian Delights. Again, it's all TFA.

Strawberry Ripe - 9%
Strawberry - 1%
Peach - 7%
DX Coconut - 5%
Sweetener - 3%

You could probably use CAP Sweet Strawberry instead, at a lower % than the 2 Strawberries in mine...like maybe 6% of it, instead of 10% total of the 2 I used. Might be able to cut the Sweetener % down to 2% then, too. Could just play around with the % until a "make your taste buds dance" place is reached.

This may seem like a strange question, but it has to do with flavor variances. Are flavors of the same name supposed to taste a like? I am surprised in the difference between TFA vanilla bean ice cream and CAPs version. Shouldn't these taste the same? Sorry if this is an unclear question...

Flavorings can Vary Dramatically from Maker to Maker.

Because, when you Think about it, what Exactly is something like Vanilla Bean Ice Cream supposed to Taste Like in the first place?

Well, I've always thought about it this way, as far as anything various companies make that are called the same thing, not just flavorings, but are different: If they were supposed to taste exactly alike, from brand to brand...why would each company bother making their own brand (version) of it? Sort of like Hershey's chocolate syrup and store brand chocolate syrup, or Breyer's Vanilla Ice Cream and Haagen Das Vanilla Ice Cream, etc.

Each "version" seems to have a different taste, or creaminess, or sweetness, strength of flavor, etc. that some prefer over another one...even though the name is the same.
