does this sound like too much flavoring?

I would let it steep for about a week or two and then try it. It does take longer for the flavouring to fully diffuse in VG.

Even if I assume that you are using a plastic pipette for the drops (which IIRC 50 drops ~ 1mL) Your at 37.5% flavouring. If the drops are out of a dropper bottle then again IIRC 20 drops ~ 1mL. If these are the drops you used then the approx. value is 60%. This may in fact be a case of too much flavouring.

If one uses 20 drops/ml then you have approx. 3.5ml of flavoring and 6ml of total mix with appprox. 58% of flavor. You should be able to taste something other than nic. Who makes your flavorings? Have you used them before? Do your flavring containers have a discernible sent? Are you using cartos (or other device) - if so try direct dripping.

Then I'm pretty sure that the 37.5% number is about where your flavouring is. I think steeping will help alot. I have noticed that with VG using vodka instead of water or extra VG works better in helping the flavours diffuse as well. Keep in mind that if you use vodka (clear 80 proof) it will increase TH and I would use no more than 14% in the total juice mixture. If you use distilled water it seems to help shorten the steeping time as well but not as good as vodka. With distilled water I wouldn't go past 20% in the total mixture. Using more will thin the juice out too much.

HTHs. =D

Ok y'all.

24 mg nic.

I never use distilled always vodka (110 proof).

I vape for drip testing on a 306 atty 2ohm.

My other pre made juices taste fine including the 100% VG.

I'm having issues with my second juice made also. It may be the nic juice. It is turning brown ish (was clear when I bought it). It is in a glass bottle that leaks at the top.

Thoughts?

You make it sound as if your nicotine is oxidizing, which has given me a metallic taste that interfered with my flavorings the one time I had that issue, but it is really hard to diagnose this issue via the internet.

I see a fairly high level of flavor, which can actually drop the amount of flavor you can taste. I see a nicotine solution that is changing colors like it is oxidizing due to exposure to air which can reduce the amount of flavor you can taste. It could be either one, or both that is the issue.

Hmm. So what should I do? Get new nic juice?

6ml bottle. 2ml VG nic. 1/2ml straight vg. About 45 drops of peanut butter flavoring, and 30 drops bananas foster flavoring.

I swear to you all I can taste is nicotine, but do I really need more flavor? I've used half my pb flavoring already :(

Yes, that is way too much. that's 40% peanut butter and 25% bananas.

Also, if your nicotine oxidizes it should turn red.

I guess I'll just trash the juice and only use the crappy nic to make super low juice. I have better stuff coming in today! Thanks DIY Flavor Shack!
