Does Vamo act up around low charge

The VAMO performs normally down to about 3.2 volts.

It's better for the batteries if you recharge them early, although if that's inconvenient for you every now and then it doesn't matter too much. The shallower the charge you give them, the longer they last.

(While that fact leads me to the strange desire to stack 18650 batteries, this is not recommended!)

I don't have any problem with my VAMO acting up with a low battery, vaping a dual coil 1.5 ohm right now at 8 watts with the battery showing 3.6 volts left. The VAMO should shut down when the battery reaches around 3.4 volts, you can change it earlier if you want, but you don't have to.

Some people say to increase battery life you should not run them too low or charge them all the way up to 4.2 volts, however that is a completely different discussion and is probably covered in the forum somewhere. For most of us charging them to 4.2 and running them until the VAMO shuts down is the norm.

Mine only gets wimpy for the last few puffs. Then I just swap it out and boom done. It's definitely good for the life time of your batts to charge them at 50% (3.7), but at the cost of batts it's almost not worth it to always be charging. It's mainly your safety that's at play. I charge mine at 3.4 most of the time. Charging them up to 4.2 is fine, you just don't want to overcharge. That's then you can run into problems.

My Vamo does kinna act "strange" when I'm running the battery down around 3.6 to 3.4. It will intermittently fire when the power begins to run this low. It is the same on both of my Vamos. Some button pushes will result in a nice hit other times it won't fire at all.

I've noticed something like this as well, but I thought it was me not pushing the button all the way down or perhaps pushing it at a slight angle that causes the Vamo to not register the contact. All in all, though, I am still INCREDIBLY happy with it.

The weak vape before dying just lets you know that when your VAMO quits working that it is from a low battery rather than being something amiss. It is what it is supposed to do.

However, batteries will give you more total hours of use before they are worn out if they are pulled for recharging before running them down to the point where the VAMO shuts off.

Mine acts the same way. what's odd is it didn't act that way for the first week I had it. The batteries fired all the way until they reached 3.2v. Now it's hit or miss between 3.4-3.2. Not a deal breaker by any means, I'm still loving it.
