Possibly don't buy so much all at once? From the sound of it you bought a lot right off the bat and I wouldn't recommend that for anyone. I don't care if you have a million to blow. Normally 2-3 or 1 sample pack should be enough when testing the water with new vendors.
The better place for this thread would of been under juice reviews where you gave a review on your disliking ect for what you got, people read it and move on.
Your exact quote of:
i'm simply trying to put in my 2 cents, to possibly caution other new buyers.
and
just my opinion.....but i think 30 days in nonsense. i think this is something that advocates of HHV(and other vendors) say in order to defend a juice they like. why do i think this? because every vendor i order from(that makes to order) i always email them directly, and ask how long i should steep. well heather herself (or at least an employee that answers questions for the website) told me 2-3 weeks should be great.
I think this is where it all started to go down hill. Caution others against what exactly? Buying a ton of juice from a vendor or not understanding the science of steeping? I mean by all means your money and if you want ready made juice buy from Five pawn. It comes steeped and ready that day. Or wait for Miss T's steeped section perhaps.
But if you can't understand that some juices have to go under a chemical change called steeping:
v. steeped, steep·ing, steeps
v.tr.
1. To soak in liquid in order to cleanse, soften, or extract a given property from.
2. To infuse or subject thoroughly to. ** this one would be closest to most juices you order**
3. To make thoroughly wet; saturate.
v.intr.
To undergo a soaking in liquid.
n.
1.
a. The act or process of steeping.
b. The state of being steeped.
2. A liquid, bath, or solution in which something is steeped.
Then by all means, educate your self, find vendors who sell already steeped juices ect or just write a review on why you think HHV didn't live up to your flavor standards and be done with it.
And for the record, I have yet to buy from HHV so my opinion is based on what was said here and forum etiquette.
