Kanza, if it makes you feel better . . . I mostly vape my diamond auto batts, but try to keep the manuals in rotation. I cannot tell you how many times, during THE SAME vaping SESSION, I have forgotten to push the li'l button and thought, "Hey! What the heck just happened to my batt?"! And then remembered . . .

Oh can I relate to your excitement...and the learning experience! LOL.

Those diamond series batteries sound really pretty; gonna have to get one of those myself when they come in the manual form. Am SO spoiled on the manuals. :D My Cig2o bats are automatics, so when I picked up one of my brand spanking new VK manuals, put on a new carto and prepared for a party in my mouth...nothing...zilch...huh thinks me?...a bad battery? Drat!! Then I remembered the button...whew! Next challenge (just like you) was trying to figure out if to hit the button before, or at the same time I took a drag...a second before is better. :thumb: Nothing like hearing that good ole crackling sound, followed by your taste buds doing a happy dance, and then watching a beautiful cloud of vapor swirling around!

BTW, have you placed the PV in your mouth wrong yet?! I’ve done it a couple time. Both times I was talking to hubby, having a serious conversation mind you, then absentmindedly picked up a VK, popped it in my mouth, reached for the button...and then thought where IS that button?! Then watched as hubby nearly fell on the floor laughing when he noticed the bewildered look on my face and noticed I had the WRONG end in my mouth at the same time. So much for a serious conversation. ROTFL. It’s also strange to just lay the VP down anywhere, or stick it in a pocket, instead of needing to have an ash tray. Good thing I don’t plan on ever going back to analogs or I’d probably burn the house down after getting used to the VK!

So glad that you are enjoying your new goodies, and how *wonderful* that your hubby got home about the same time! So very sorry he’s sick though

; what a bummer...hope he gets up on his feet really SOON.

Okay, storms have left the area....heading to bed!

I love the stealth and diamond series batteries!! Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em! I won't go into what a colossal mistake I made while ordering them *so don't even ask* but I think I know what to do with the duplicates!

They're not duplicates; they're back-ups.

Yea! I was reluctant to mention the "backwards" attempt since trying to vape with the cap left on sounded bad enough ;p That's mainly my PT since it resides in the basement - along with my computer and the washer/dryer - so guess where I am now and what I just did?

Gotta say, love the PT - it's auto and delivers just the right amount of vapor. Has Doc Pepper on it now in 4mg and I keep finding excuses to do the laundry so it's just me and my PT ;) What I also get to do now is remove lighters and ashtrays from my desk clearing up valuable real estate that will be promptly assigned to V4L equipment!

Oh, yes, force-feeding DayQuil to sick hubby and he's improving...a darn good thing since he boards a plane tomorrow morning for Tel Aviv. I think it's a bad idea but no hope for it <shrug> besides, he's stubborn. WHY do guys think they are 1) indispensable and 2) bullet-proof?? He's certainly been given ample warning to SLOW DOWN but does he??? Of course not!

But, back to my PT and Doc Pepper and the rest of his laundry! More later!

The ABSOLUTE *LAST* of the laundry is now finished! I hauled out some spring-time clothes and decided to get them ready for (if) when warm weather finally arrives. Amazing how much more quickly it seemed to go with no worries about where I left a burning cigarette or having an analog go out and not being able to find a lighter - all problems of the past!

I talked about the equipment I ordered and failed to mention I seem to be a cool cart lover right off the bat. WOW seemed a tad strong at first but it's getting better as I explore more. I am also gravitating to the lower nicotine levels so I have a quick question: What do I do with the higher level carts/juice I ordered? Is there a fix for this?

My first flavor was Smilin Special Menthol in 11mg. Absolutely incredible! I could NOT believe I could taste so many different things (including tobacco, imagine that!) in one quick drag!! It had a nutty-ness I really liked but I think the nico level was a little high for a first experience for me. So, next came Coffee in 8mg. Unbelievable!! That really tasted like coffee but was still a bit harsh. Remember this is day 1 for me and it's all very new.

Remembering sage advice - I limited myself to those two and one of the 4mg Menthol sampler packs. Unfortunately, I picked Parlament and, like the analog its name suggests, has always made me slightly nauseated. Wow! I had forgotten totally how that cigarette affected me until I tried that cartomizer and it all came back! THAT is how incredibly close to the real thing they are!!

Day 2 was the Virginia Menthol sampler and was much better - much, much, much better! It might come close to being my "go to" vape but still have sooooo many more to try. Also tried the 4mg Doc Pepper and fell in love! Just sat there smiling and vaping and smiling some more! Put Doc Pepper on my PT and on my list for ordering!

Day 3 was try a couple of new things like WOW Cherry Cordial in 8mg and the tastes were all there!! However, was just a little too much so l limited it to a few "puffs" and onto something else like Clove 18mg - BAD idea! The clove taste was great but the nicotine content was too much!

Day 4 and I decided to try filling those blank cartomizers! Peppermint RULES! No two ways about it - it's just freaking awesome!! Yet another item for my next order (which will probably be tomorrow!) along with a lower nicotine content Clove! The peppermint was such a success I filled a WOW blank cartomizer with WOW French Vanilla Ice Cream juice! WOW! being the operative word...and maybe a little bit toooooo much WOW for a newbie! Heat is the word that comes to mind - it all seemed hot but I keep trying it periodically and the results are improving.

Enough of the diary - it's sufficient I still have things to try in the original order and more things on my order list for next time! I love the product - from start to finish! It gives me a sense of freedom that analogs never could! I am tied to more equipment and perhaps more restrictions in how to use it (if not WHERE to use it) but I am freer than I ever was on tobacco and I don't really know how to explain that...sorry :) I determine what flavor, what strength, when and how much to vape and I have no worries about smoke, burns, dirty ashtrays, etc., etc.

My first day, I checked my cigarette pack before going to bed and discovered 10 analogs left in it. I honestly got up and checked all of my trashcans to make certain I had not absentmindedly thrown an empty pack away! I went from 40 to 50 cigarettes a day to 10 and that was Day 1!! Without trying, without even thinking - TWO packs of cigarettes are gone from my life! What more need be said? That says it all!

Glad to hear you're enjoying yourself! If you like the taste of the juice, but the nic was too high, order the same juice with 0 nic. Into an empty bottle or rubber end cap drip about 5 drops of the high juice and 5 drops of the 0 nic juice - 18 mg becomes 9 mg. I still use my pretty crystal ashtrays to hold my pv and some cartos. It looks nice and rarely needs cleaning.
