This whole thread seems kinda funny to me. Most people have either personal or practical reasons for the solution they choose.

I'm a 510 person myself. And do not like cartomizers. But at the same time I have an Eluma kit, which I like, and use (it's basically a DSE901).

I'll probably try everything in my days as a vaporer. But the debate about "what is truly the best PV" is sorta like debating who the greatest football player was in all history. Payton? Butkis? Elway? Singletary?

Every one of those players had strong and weak points- like every PV solution.

Strange. It doesn't even seem important enough to debate.

The most important issue, from my standpoint, is are you tobacco free? THAT is the question. Whatever works. Cool. Whatever you like... cool.

These threads seem... useless. Unless they are pointing out a problem with a vendor that effects people in a real tangible way.

Is a bad carto from time to time, or cheapy carto qualified?- considering you can get all kinds of stuff, from hundreds of vendors which may or may not be better?

Well said!

HEY! WHAT ARE YOU TRYIN' TO SAY HERE? Everybody who knows anything about football knows that Johnny Unitas WAS THE GREATEST! :D

As to V4L, I've been very pleased with their products and customer service. I haven't liked every flavor that I've tried from there, but I have found several that I do like. I've also tried a couple of highly praised juice vendors and didn't care for every flavor that I got from them either. I love my KR808 after five weeks as a vaper. It's been everything I had hoped for in an e-cig. I just ordered a second XL battery from V4L. That's why there are so many models of PVs and so many different juice vendors. To each his/her own. :2c:

There is one thing about V4L that you will notice... at some point... you will come back lol.

I love 510 and 801 but after a few months without my Kr808 and the V4L carts I found myself placing orders through them again. Since the WoW carts came out thats what i've been after.

I will say when i quit V4L it was when they seemed to of been going through a rough time. Mislabeled carts, horrible flavor juices and carts that were only half full when coming straight out of the factory. HOWEVER! it seems that most if not all of it has been fixed. On top of that I find myself using adapters on my 510 batts to power my Kr808s and its been great since. <3 WoWboy.

Well theres my :2c:

EDIT: V4L isn't a normal vapor shop... its not something you can walk out on... its a cult... and we will be waiting for your return brother... :D

You will be back :)

I have a mixed experience with V4L.

The positive:

I like the V4L coolcarts and at $8.95/5 plus frequent 20% off sales (seems like they have one every other week) they are a good deal. I haven't had any problems with them.

I haven't tried V9's Turbos but from my reading they are about the same resistance (~3.5 ohms) and for $7.16/5 on sale for coolcarts vs $8.95 for Turbos after coupon I go for coolcarts. I don't know if I'm missing anything here but they seem to be the same product.

The negative:

I purchased a passthrough with my VaporKing kit, a month later sometimes it fires sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't I have to push in and up or in and to the side on the button to get it to fire and sometimes it still doesn't. Very annoying during a nic fit.

The two original batteries that came with the kit last about an hour now. It takes longer to charge them than they last so if it wasn't for the passthrough I would be without a vape and since my passthrough is failing it has become a race against time to get a new product.

I know I can get more batteries but since they only lasted a month before degrading to this point I opted for a mod with external rechargeable batteries.

I'm not a fan of their liquids but I have read enough posts from those who like them to consider it a matter of taste.

i dont like how if you spend more (and i usually spend at least $100 when i purchase e-cig stuff) you have to pay more for shipping. just seems backwards to me.

this is from v4L shipping and handling rates page:

We offer flat shipping rates for shipping within the United States. Our shipping rates are as follows:

Orders $0 - $99.99 ship USPS Priority Mail for $6.95.

Orders $100 and up ship USPS Priority Mail for $9.95.

This is a universal law: You have used the term "never". Therefor you will use V4L again.

It's a predictable principle. "Never" always translates as "Someday"

Do not say never. It always results in "someday".

Well, I still think you're being a bit overly harsh on them, although I don't feel any supplier/business should be above criticism. I've had 5 trouble free orders so far (although a couple of cartomizers were not so good out of 50+) so I don't have any real complaints.

And not sure how my chrome battery can be "plasticky"!

Still interested in your opinion though. What suppliers would you recommend as an alternative? (just 2 or 3 of what you consider to be the best.)

lol....that would almost hold true....except for the whole fact that I've given my word /vowed against it...

which wouldn't mean much in most circumstances....except that in my lifestyle both religiously and philosophically a word oath is not something you ever break...

perhaps it may have to do with the one and only order I placed with them that they got wrong....true...I also believe that good CS shouldn't take 2 weeks to fix their screw up either...nor require a half dozen or so emails to various addresses, 2 phone calls to CS, and finally a phone call to the owner of the company to fix...

what I mean by plasticy...is the lightness of the battery and the cheap feel of the button compared to say a 510 which just has a more substantial "feel" to it...it's hard to explain...

as far as my personal vendor preference ...well it is a personal thing...but I've had no issues and nothing but spectacular CS from RMV, cignot, nhaler, vaporbomb, halo, vapornine, and ikenvape

I agree. I would be put off by this too. However it hasn't been my experience which is why I ordered from them more than once.

Lightness of the battery is good imo (I like that), but I know what you mean about the button. The button on my old M401s were rubber and just seemed to work better.

Cool. I actually just placed my first order with vaporbomb. And I'm trying Cigeasy as well.

I also recommend Litecig and Truesmoker to people since I've had good experience with them as well.

that's cool...I'm digging the vaporbomb...and like that they're in the same state and apparently just opened a lounge...
and I like RMV because they're in the detroit area and ship free for anything past $14 (but don't carry KR8 parts)

My first e-cig was a Fifty-One Trio, and I hated the stupid, and very expensive, thing. I paid $100 bucks for one batt, one wall charger, 5 carts, and 10 ml of e-liquid. I admit... I got owned, gave the batt to my boyfriend, and I went back to tobacco for a while. I decided to go with V4L Vapor Kings because I heard of the great throat hit, and because I heard it was easy to use. I smoked tobacco because I enjoyed smoking, the addiction to nicotine is an unfortunate drawback, and I just wanted to get that same pleasure without having to try to figure the darned thing out. I'm still pretty new, but I do like my Vapor King. I wish I would have known that the shorty batts only last about 2 - 3 hours of chain vaping, but the new longer batt I got is still working after 3 hours. I also wish I would have figured out that it was the Kamel juice giving my blank carto the nasty taste, and not a burned out carto. I finally figured it out after trying it in the Trio; it would have saved me from running out of cartos because I thought they were burned, so I threw them away. I do wish Robert, the person who responded to my query about the cartos, would have taken the time to actually help me figure out what was wrong. Instead I got an e-mail telling me that I wasn't filling the cartos correctly; even though I had watched the videos linked to the website, other videos on YouTube, and received step-by-step instructions in the live chat.

Even after all of that, I like them. I don't have to mess around with the atty, I figured out a way to refill them without making a big mess, I love the premium blank cartos, I love the throat hit from them, I love their VG chocolate juice, and the slightly longer batt is working for me. My advice to anyone who is new to e-cigs, buy the starter kit w/ longer batts and buy a couple boxes of carto samplers. Figure out what flavor you like, then buy the juice and the blank cartos. If you have questions, ask them in the forums and the live chat before contacting V4L; the people here are better at finding out what is really going on, and they seem to understand the written word a little better than Robert.

Drodz,

I see a lot of your points and it's cool. I'm not a V4L customer anyway. But it does seem a bit like you are crusading the issue a little bit.

I'd also like to lend my agreement about your assessment of cignot, nhaler, and halo. Haven't tried the others.

However, due to this thread I went out and bought an 808 based kit with cartomizers just to find out for myself. I didn't give V4L the business, but they aren't on my preferred vendor list. I'm at the point where I have a set of vendors I stick with.

Please don't criticize me for it. I kinda want to find out for myself.
