Na, not a new flavor... but got this pic in a nice text from "the don." These are wild trout...

I hate it when people do that, then brag about what they caught. You wanna brag? Better work for it.

Besides, you don't want to eat anything out of a stocked pond *shudder*, and that's half the enjoyment of fishing (for me, at least). Well, that and the beer.

yeah, wild trout just aren't as docile... I remember flyfishing on the west branch of the delaware in deposit, ny not too long ago and my 5 weight fly rod bowed like crazy and I worked for several minutes trying to bring in this trout... I was imagining a 26 inch brown or something and it was like a 12 inch one... the wild ones have a lot of fight.

My father used to do lots of trout fishing. He always said trout were VERY SMART. Also, trout live in clean water, so I was never suspicious about eating them.

I can't help but notice that the yellowish part of those fish is the exact same color as my 555e that I've now run out of...hmmm....methinks meneeds to get a grip and stop thinking about 555e...

Had a blast catching them and the others as well.

I can't help but notice that the yellowish part of those fish is the exact same color as my 555e that I've now run out of...hmmm....methinks meneeds to get a grip and stop thinking about 555e...
