It's not religion people. And I can't figure out why *this* vaping device seems to divide people. It really shouldn't. It's a battery tube with a heating element after all.

It isn't just this PV. It's the nature of people and the fact that the impersonal aspect of using internet forums brings out some of the worst in peoples' nature. I asked a couple of questions and made a comment about my feelings about another recent PV right here on ECF and it brought me grief in the form of a few nasty PMs, a couple of upset people in that thread, and even my very own facebook stalker. -- I don't let those sorts of things bother me, and I hope you don't either. After all: It's just the internet. It's not like any of those people would actually act like that in real life even if they did have an opportunity.

Agreed... as a moderator on this forum I can relate to human nature.

But we all have a choice as to how we behave- internet or not :)

There is no perfect Ecig ... yet. My two 510/EGO variants are the Ego-T and the Mega type B cylinder. Those two have the best taste. In drip tip attys, I'm partial to the 306.

I've gone through 3 Ego-T Tanks over the last couple of months and enjoyed each one. The wick seems to be the weak point. Even with cleaning and adjustment (with the plate out) you finally get to the point where vapor is reduced, but still acceptable, but the taste and flavor weakens. Open up a new one and viola! It's back. I've tried hot water, alcohol, wick adjustment, and still no improvement. So, I put them in a zip lock in hopes that someone will find the secret to rejuvenation.

Right now, I'm back to the Mega type B cylinder and happy, except even with the large cart, I have to fill i much more often than the tank. I'll eventually order a type B tank and try that. I'm a gadget hound, anyway!

Did you try Smart Carts yet? They're a hybrid of the tank and filler-to-bridge cart concepts. They hold a good bit of juice.

There's a few versions of them out there with minor differences and I don't think they cost much to try.

I haven't tried one yet so can't offer any opinion on them....
They do come for both regular and mega atties tho'.

I did try Lucids on 510 and 901 atties. Not bad with a little modding, but it ain't direct drippin' either ;) Vapes about like the standard carts with fluvol...just holds more (lots more) juice.

Next carts like this I try will be the Smart Carts...

I really don't like messing with filler....so the Tank is great for me. It holds plenty of juice and is easy to refill. But....yes, the flavor is just about all lost and I don't know why. Can't someone make a tank that will let the juice hold its flavor? I'd love to have a tank for my Icon, Sixes, all my 510 devices. Sure beats the heck out of messing around endlessly with that filler mess. :)

Can't vouch for them...haven't tried one yet, but I noticed in shopping around that there more companies making different tank designs. If eGo T isn't cutting it for you maybe one of the others will?

These Turbines are one example.

There's also a Joye 510-T out and about now.

I've seen pictures of one or two others meant to go with the Lucid carts, but ATM looks like no one wants to keep them in stock.

72 hours on a Ego tank and atty a friend sent me. Wile I have had no leaks and a full tank last my a good length of time (no different the my ce2). I can't get past the fact that no matter the juices it always taste like plastic, like drinking soda for a can one taste aluminum...... I think I'll stick to wicking with my ce2's..........

Have you tried soaking the mouthpiece in Vodka for a length of time? I have had that issue with some of my tanks as well, but a vodka bath helped them some. Eventually that plastic taste goes away on it's own, but it can take a while I have noticed.
Something like a month and a half later I have not given up on the T, and I'm glad I didn't.
first no Vodka in this house but I wont get into that. I just kept changing the flavors vaping tank after tank and 3 tank in it was better. That easy.
I think the prob was the atty was not getting wet enough in the beginning. Trying to wick down the pricing stem and I may have burnt it just ever so slight. But it is all good now and the T will always be at hand. live and learn, I can tell you I killed 3 cartomizer when I first started vaping. I'm glad I saved this atty. And it was this thread kept me trying...

~I think some ppl forget that with every new product that comes out whatever the product. There is a period of trial and error for everyone. Some just want instant gratification (dangerous). You buy a new product expect to be a Guinea-pig. If one dose not try to achieve they will not succeed.... I succeed! I love my Ego T......~

Still on original atty and 2 tanks for over 2.5m now. Required an alcohol clean after 9 days. Changed liquid atty has not been cleaned since.

When I received *hate mail* on youtube telling me I was an idiot for liking the eGo-T, and also received mail asking me to "take on Grimmgreen" over his review. I was pretty appalled.QUOTE]

Well, it was your fault I went with an ego-t after watching your video(s).

BTW, that is a good thing. I held off using an ecig for years since I did not want the hassle of dripping, or other methods that were out there at the time. When I saw your ego-t video, I thought this could work for me, and it has, very well. I bought one for me and one for my wife. Going on 3 months now with them and all is well. Still using our original atties, and haven't bought any other PV since it is working so well. My ONLY beef is the flavor thing. But if I get a good amount of vapor and it keeps me from smoking, I can live with that.

Now I am just waiting on your update video for the ultrasonic cleaning. :)

O.K. Anyone who wants to get rid of those nasty ego T attys/tanks just PM me. As long as they still work, I'll pay shipping to me so you won't have to be bothered with them anymore.:2cool:

No method of vaping is perfect but, this comes close enough for me. I sometimes drip but mostly use tanks. SICK of modding fillers, carto's etc. So just consider this a PSA, and I'll take them off your hands :vapor::vapor:

Found some 510 Tank attys but they were $10 each and with $5 shipping that makes it prohibitive. That's more than double the cost of a standard atty.

510-T TANK Atomizer for Joye 510 or eGo

Electronic Cigarette - Atomizers & Cones - Joye 510-T

$3 shipping, both places. At Liberty Flights, don't forget to click the 20% off button in the left upper corner on the main page before you start shopping. TVCfriend will give you additional 5% off at Good Prophets. GP also carries the new LR 510-T for 7 bucks right now.

The bad thing about the eGo-T is that when you switch the flavors, you tend to get a burnt taste with the new flavor mixing with the residue of the old flavor.

I don't. And I change flavors all the time. The burnt taste comes from hitting a dry atty, not from changing flavors.
