I totally agree. That is ridiculous that people actually emailed you. Doesn't surprise me though I guess.

It isn't just this PV. It's the nature of people and the fact that the impersonal aspect of using internet forums brings out some of the worst in peoples' nature. I asked a couple of questions and made a comment about my feelings about another recent PV right here on ECF and it brought me grief in the form of a few nasty PMs, a couple of upset people in that thread, and even my very own facebook stalker. -- I don't let those sorts of things bother me, and I hope you don't either. After all: It's just the internet. It's not like any of those people would actually act like that in real life even if they did have an opportunity.
My feelings, given the seriousness with which I take my reviews, would be hurt if one of the people who watched them, took my opinion and threw it into other people's faces like the OP did in starting this thread.
The bad thing about the eGo-T is that when you switch the flavors, you tend to get a burnt taste with the new flavor mixing with the residue of the old flavor.
There is no perfect Ecig ... yet. My two 510/EGO variants are the Ego-T and the Mega type B cylinder. Those two have the best taste. In drip tip attys, I'm partial to the 306.
I've gone through 3 Ego-T Tanks over the last couple of months and enjoyed each one. The wick seems to be the weak point. Even with cleaning and adjustment (with the plate out) you finally get to the point where vapor is reduced, but still acceptable, but the taste and flavor weakens. Open up a new one and viola! It's back. I've tried hot water, alcohol, wick adjustment, and still no improvement. So, I put them in a zip lock in hopes that someone will find the secret to rejuvenation.
Right now, I'm back to the Mega type B cylinder and happy, except even with the large cart, I have to fill i much more often than the tank. I'll eventually order a type B tank and try that. I'm a gadget hound, anyway!
I really don't like messing with filler....so the Tank is great for me. It holds plenty of juice and is easy to refill. But....yes, the flavor is just about all lost and I don't know why. Can't someone make a tank that will let the juice hold its flavor? I'd love to have a tank for my Icon, Sixes, all my 510 devices. Sure beats the heck out of messing around endlessly with that filler mess.![]()
72 hours on a Ego tank and atty a friend sent me. Wile I have had no leaks and a full tank last my a good length of time (no different the my ce2). I can't get past the fact that no matter the juices it always taste like plastic, like drinking soda for a can one taste aluminum...... I think I'll stick to wicking with my ce2's..........
Something like a month and a half later I have not given up on the T, and I'm glad I didn't.Have you tried soaking the mouthpiece in Vodka for a length of time? I have had that issue with some of my tanks as well, but a vodka bath helped them some. Eventually that plastic taste goes away on it's own, but it can take a while I have noticed.
When I received *hate mail* on youtube telling me I was an idiot for liking the eGo-T, and also received mail asking me to "take on Grimmgreen" over his review. I was pretty appalled.QUOTE]
Well, it was your fault I went with an ego-t after watching your video(s).
BTW, that is a good thing. I held off using an ecig for years since I did not want the hassle of dripping, or other methods that were out there at the time. When I saw your ego-t video, I thought this could work for me, and it has, very well. I bought one for me and one for my wife. Going on 3 months now with them and all is well. Still using our original atties, and haven't bought any other PV since it is working so well. My ONLY beef is the flavor thing. But if I get a good amount of vapor and it keeps me from smoking, I can live with that.
Now I am just waiting on your update video for the ultrasonic cleaning.

Found some 510 Tank attys but they were $10 each and with $5 shipping that makes it prohibitive. That's more than double the cost of a standard atty.
