I would like to know what businesses not to do business with in dyi don't want to deal with company's that have poor customer service

You might sell some company cause another person has a axe to grind.
DIY is cheep and I dont think you will have a lot of money tied up in the start up.

Yes, I don't think any are perfect. Most just sell what someone else makes. There are sub-forums for reviews. Also, the search bar in the upper right is something I use every week. In the supporting business sub-forum, those businesses have been reviewed positively. Good place to start.

Just following posts and when you hear of a business, research them. Frankly, I hear most about the slowness of the USPS. But, I do know that I, for one, am antsy for my purchases...so they are always slow.

I saw the post about candy oils and understand why you are asking the question, but everyone's experience with vendors will be different. Like @Frenchfry1942 said use your own judgement. It's the wild west out there right now, if it doesn't feel right don't buy from them.

I have found that no one place covers all my needs. Part of my homepage is focused on my vaping and I have bookmarks there for a couple dozen places. They are places I am comfortable with and then I look for best price/shipping. MattyTny, up top, has a good list to start with. Wizard is where I get my base and I have been to most of the others. For hardware, it is a matter of price.

If you stick to the vendors here on ECF at least until you get to know a few, you should be fine.

I have ordered from several stores now and I have not had a problem with any of them yet with a customer service issue. My biggest problem so far has been inventory, so far every order I have made I have had to split between different suppliers due some items being out of stock. That can get very frustrating if you are trying to save on shipping cost.

You hit the nail on the head i have run in to that same issue due to supply and demand im happy for them getting business and all but it does get frustrating! Thanks for your help
