I don't understand the trend of companies putting out 1 battery 18650 mods capable of 50+ Watts.
Seems to me that one 18650 just isn't strong enough for the Buck Boost. Too much battery sag.

At the 40-50 Watt range seems like you need a Two 18650 mod or a built in Battery like the Evic VT or the Mpv 3 Pro.

I received a Cloupor Mini Plus and didn't have the newest battery on it and the battery just couldn't handle 50 watts.

Anyone agree?

IMO, if you are vaping at 20-30 watts, 1 battery is OK. Above 40watts, I would want 2 batteries if for run-time only. But then I probably would want a minimum of 60watts and 2 batts in order to vape at 40-50watts. Don't like running above my batteries limits, as per a mech, Even thought that is the function of a Buck/boost. I would want at least 25% more power available than I plan to use, just to aid in ramp up speed and capacity.

I probably should have titled it " I think it's ridiculous "

75 Watt Vaping on Just 1 18650 Battery. I don't see it happening at least not for very
long.

Yet all these companies are putting out these Mods.

Seems like the trend should be for more MVP 3PRo and Evic VT type of units that can handle the higher watts with their own
batteries to offer a smaller form factor.

I agree with you on this, for my vaping style at least.

But I can see the other side, which is for those that want decent power, but are not continuously vaping all day, so don't need the capacity or weight of two batteries and a large device. A friend of mine has a Kanger Subox 60W thing, totally not my cup of tea (looks like a cheap a-team toy), but it works for him whilst he is at work (where he would only use it as often as he used to smoke).
