Yeah you really KNOW things are not good when you can wire, build, fabricate or repair just about anything within the realms of electrical/mechanical/electronics.......and yet you can't find a single employment offer within a 30 mile radius of your residence.

Might be time to soon leave this old hick town far behind me!

NEVER had this problem when I lived closer to NYC....

Man I hear ya. I've been needing to find a job for months now to fill in the gaps on bills as biz has fallen off too. I've been a friggin Field Engineer / Technician for 14 years now - can't find anything around here. I actually went and picked up applications at Subway and the local Grocery store today!! :D

Hey - whatever it takes to get back on top!!

I took MANY factors into consideration before making this choice......but I've made my choice. Aside from child support for my daughter, I only have myself to worry about now. I'm giving up my nice spacious apartment; already sold my motorcycle & car. I'm going away to CDL school (tractor trailers) and I'm going to spend the next year or two just keeping the wheels rolling with VERY MINIMAL OVERHEAD. When I need a break I'll stay with friends, relatives or a motel for a weekend or two. I've always wanted to see all the states and once I'm financially caught up again, I'll be able to move to pretty much anyplace I (dilligently) research and choose to.....and not have to worry about work. Any (single)truckers who are out of work are being too fussy and simply don't WANT to work badly enough! Times are tough and sometimes you just have to maintain a mindset to overcome no matter what you have to do to make it so. Extreme conditions call for extreme measures and I'm so sick of living in CT I could scream.......so my solution resolves several problems simultaneously. If I were younger, I might consider full time military, but I think I've done my duty for king & country already. After a 10 year marriage that ended in a hopeless train wreck, I just want my freedom now.....and I'll surely find the good in all things from now on. NO MORE being nagged and controlled all the time.....how refreshing...my life is MINE again!!!! Now I can focus on finding MY happiness for a change. It should only take a couple of years, so I'm not complaining.

May God bless you on that journey. You sound like you have it all under control. Now, you have a chance to find that perfect place to live.

Ah man that sounds good Doc. I wish you the best. It is funny... I have a commercial license and can drive box trucks up to 26' - but I cannot get a CDL due to my epilepsy. Which honestly I cannot begrudge DOT for having that restriction. There is no way for them to know who is pulling their leg and who isn't about just how 'cured' their seizures are - and there are enough OTR accidents already :\

All I can say is, I have an ex-inlaw I keep in touch with, I consider him my little brother still - and he has done the same thing you are. He's been very successful at it too so I'd say you have a sound plan.

Good luck to you, and I hope you're rollin' out soon :D

Thanks much for the blessing, but I doubt I have it all under control.

I will however have a chance at a life with more freedom and options once again.....and from my perspective, that's a great start.

Thanks, and I like the transformer pic. It takes a couple of years to esablish oneself in the freight business, so I'll have to put in my time workin' for the man to pay off the training, licensing, etc. But at least I have a shot at freedom once again, which is a refreshing change.

Problem is that juice that comes into contact with cartridges, stuffing, syringes, fingers... So many places where bacteria can be transferred. That bottle of "saved" juice is a breeding ground for badness.

My advice, save your immune system, juice is not expensive enough to warrant this.
i agree i did this and the saved juice was so gross, it wasn't worth it, if you really want to save juice pack your ecig (batt) down, or let it sit inverted overnight, and vape it dry.

I do use this method for prefilled carts I hate poly fill so I used it to save all the juice in the prefilled carts, and dripped it worked pretty good

I find most pre-filled carts to be kind of repulsive but I'm now thinking about saving that juice as a backup. I guess it could use be used in mixes with various flavors/juice. I have yet to experience any good tasting carts but I am new vaper and have only been at it for a month or so (901 and red dragon carts tasted like poo)

As long as you approach it with confidence and optimism, it has all of the potential for the adventure of a lifetime.

Let's remember who we used to be. There's probably not a single person out there who hasn't at one time or another dug through their own ashtray to find a discarded cigarette that was long enough to get a couple of puffs off of. You know, just to get you through the trip to the store.

P.S. Don't miss that part one bit!

Yessiree Daffy, been there, done that! Especially back in my college days. Would also strip the tobacco remnants out of the butts and roll them up in papers or stuff the leavin's in a corn cob pipe. God, I couldn't even imagine doing that now that I can smell and taste again:shock:.

Hot damn! Doc! You've just convinced me to try a few squirts from the little bottle I call The Big Nasty One. I have recently converted from RN4081 to the 601 Pipe, and so far nothing tastes bad in that pipe. Gonna top up right now! Mixed within this bottle are traces of Coffee, Chocolate, Cherry, Strawberry, 2 versions of Camel, Licorice, Coconut, Almond, Hilton, French Pipe, and no less than four different generic Tobacco flavors including the original cartridge juices from my first kit and juices I salvaged from incompatible cartridges snagged from a gas station in California back in April when my business trip went a week longer than I had planned on. Here goes...
WOW, different, It's an everlasting gobbstopper! The mix of flavors "mellows the harsh" of the Marlboro clone I regretted buying. Much smoother and cleaner than I thought it would be: Fruity Camel Turkish Macaroon Mocha Pie with a Cherry on top!
Thank you Doc! It's a very vapable addition to my juice vault, not Just for Doomsday anymore Bottle.
