DOT Proposed Rule: No E-Cigs on Planes

I've never had a problem vaping on a plane either......yet. If they are banned on flights though, I'm concerned that they won't let me carry mine on board and I sure as hell don't want it confiscated! Flying is such a PITA these days...

Even if ecig usage was officially banned on flights, I'm sure we'd still be able to carry them on. Cigarettes have been banned on planes for a long time, but people are allowed to bring them on board (matches and lighters are allowed too).

Thats true. But if someone were to light up a cigarette in flight it would be noticed immediatly! Since it is possible to stealth vape without detection this may prompt regulators to bar them from being carried on board.

So far there are still less than 1,000 comments, and many of them are FOR banning the PV, and counting it as one and the same as SMOKING. The fines will be atrocious too!
