First is what does everyone recommend for cleaning and polishing the black and gold petri mod? Secondly is there any places or vendors that sell replacement firing buttons or parts for this mod?

First is what does everyone recommend for cleaning and polishing the black and gold petri mod? Secondly is there any places or vendors that sell replacement firing buttons or parts for this mod?

Not 100% sure what type of finish that the black/gold is on the Petri (or what type of metal its covering (copper?) - but I have a copper Bearded One mech that has a black 'blasted' finish and the best way to 'polish' and maintain the coating is with mineral oil. Just very lightly coat a lint-free or microfiber cloth with the mineral oil and rub it in to the the finish on the mod. After the first wipe down, wipe it off with a paper towel or something similar to remove any captured dirt/grime and excess oil - then repeat - apply the oil again and very gently wipe it down with another clean towel/paper towel/cloth. It not only gives it a clean look with a slight shine, but the mineral oil also serves to protect and prolong the life of the coating - also makes it feel 'softer'.

Like I said, not sure if it's the same kind of coating as mine (IIRC mine is matte black chromium sandblasted over copper) - but that's what I do - hope it helps...
