RedHen, I almost always get the "standard"...I can't remember the last time I ordered "extra extra" flavor, but that's probably because I gravitate towards the more complex flavors rather than single note flavors (such as the Absolute fruits). I think Annette cringes a little bit at double flavor, because sometimes TOO much flavor actually translates into NO flavor. On the ones that are a little light for you, just ask in the comments of your order for extra extra flavor, or describe what you need, maybe just an extra flavor shot (flavor and a half?). There ARE a handful of VV vapers that always ask for DOUBLE flavor. Annette is very happy to try to "nail" the flavor level you're seeking. :) ...remember custom requests require extra lead time. vape on! :vapor:

You could order a batch of your favorite with double flavor, and if it is too strong, use it to enhance your stock flavor to a stronger level when your taste buds are off. That way, you may get away with just adding a few drops or whatever of the double strength to one tank or carto and then not when you don't need to. If you find out a blend that is constant, you may find an actual sweet spot percentage in between to make as your custom order.

Some days, my taste buds are asleep. A little session with my tooth brush and peroxide/water usually cures it for days at a time. Especially if I have been eating spicy foods. There are some things that toothpaste just won't kill. Like pepperoni for instance.

LOL, I DO cringe a bit at double flavor! Too much flavor can distort the taste of an e-liquid or, in the case of our standard line, cause the alcohol content to become quite a lot. I have to admit, I guess I feel a bit like a chef watching someone add too much salt to a dish I think is perfect! On the other hand, I know that everyone's tastes are different and are also strongly influenced by how long someone has been smoking. I've been vaping for three years now (or is it almost four? I've lost track!) and I eat quite clean without much in the way of artificial flavors, etc., so I know that my tastes won't be the same as everyone's. I do encourage people to try flavors as they are first as I think some times people want extra flavor because they assume it's somehow more or better and that isn't always true with e-liquid. Giving them more steeping time can also really make a difference without pushing the flavor level up too high and possibly distorting the taste. But if that doesn't do it for you, don't hesitate to ask for more flavor! I promise, I won't be upset! :)

Speaking of, I've been tweaking my individual flavor recipes so I'd love to hear feedback on any flavors that seem naturally lighter and could use a bit of beefing up! Anyone have a flavor they think is lighter than the others and could use a stronger mixing hand?

I think I assumed that "double flavor" was "extra flavor". I feel like a few could use a little kick, but mostly they are great. I looked at the website the other day for your UK vendor and they said all of their stock was "double flavor" so it made me wonder.

I think that the black cherry marshmallow is on the light side flavor-wise. Right now I am using my samplers in V4L cool carts. I just put my Organic Rootbeer Float sampler in a V4L 3.5 ml tank with a 1.5 ohm dual coil carto and it is KNOCKING MY SOCKS OFF with flavor. I can't wait to try the other juices in my tanks... only three months left until my V4L juices are gone and I can move on... :(

I have also noticed that if I go from vaping the V4L (which I believe are Dekang) juices to the VV juices that my palette is desensitized for a while and I have a hard time tasting the VV juices. If I start off on VV they are outstanding. It's like comparing aspartame to maple syrup.

Here's an idea...set aside your Virgin Vapor juices and vape your face off with your stash of V4L. By the time you're finished, your VV flavors will probably be steeped to PERFECTION! :)

(Guess what? I started out with V4L flavors too! shhhhhhhhh)

I'm only using VV samples so I can know what I want to order for my BIG stash. I'm going to order my VV stash six weeks before my V4L juices are set to run out so my VV juices are super steeped. I really do not like my V4L juices, especially after trying VV. What I dislike most about their juices is that they WILL NOT disclose the ingredients... not even the vg/pg ratio. Pretty ridiculous.

RedHenny, that's nuts that you have no idea whats in them. Not like they have reinvented the wheel and added a secret ingredient. That alone would scare me off. They are clearly hiding the info. for a reason.

What I would do is just keep that stash of juice as emergency backup if you are desperate and out of VV. You may have it for years but consider it well steeped. I'd also use that to give out random bottles to anyone I meet that wants to try vaping. No way are they getting my VV, backoff punks!

I think that they don't give out the ingredients because they probably don't know. Their liquids come from China. Every time you ask a question you get the "ooooooh, TRADE SECRET" and that's pretty ridiculous. I asked if any of their ingredients contained aspartame or splenda (because apparently some brands do- YUCK) and they pretty much wouldn't answer. That's what sent me looking for VV. I don't want to turn this into the trash V4L thread... I do like their company and I am loyal to their gear... but I am done with their liquids. Well, almost!
