After some dissection and trials I found a nice way to get double life from the carto's I had gotten.
I had inadvertently ordered some dual coil XL cartos and because I use regular 510 batteries in public couldn't use them, as it could have damaged my batteries (they are 1.8 ohm average).
If you look inside the carto there is a wire coming up the center tube. Clip this and it will disable the second coil!!!! I now use them like that untill they die, and then resolder the wires when the first coil dies! Dual life from one carto, and only 1$ per box more.
This might not work with all of them, but it does with the ones I got from MV.
