Hot button is because you push it for many seconds and veeery often, am I right Lord?
Actually, I watched a video that you posted where you were demonstrating the Super Slim and followed along. I know that might sound funny, but I was mimicking the video exactly to get a hang of it.
I would think it was just heat transfer, but none of the other parts are getting hot. I have changed the batteries several times as well. Taken the entire thing completely apart, cleaned each part and reassembled. Still the button get's hot.
When I break the unit down into just the Slim, the phenomenon stops AND the atomizer that wasn't working starts working again! However 3.7 volts isn't enough to get it really vaping.
I am quite perplexed. I contacted Vapor Kings to see if they would accept the extender in return for store credit, but after reviewing their warranty policy it looks like I'm out of luck. It's not necessarily that I don't love it when I can do it right, but that it probably requires a bit too much finesse for me. I'm very busy during the day and as such I think that maybe just the Slim with a LR atty may be an acceptable alternative.
T-Hefner was quite right I think, when he said that you kind of have to "master" 7 volt vaping. Unfortunately I don't have the time for that. I just need to vape and go.
Make no mistake, it is a very handsome piece and well crafted with some serious attention to detail.
