Double standard on ECF suppliers??

I would just like to point out a double standard becoming very evident within this forum among the registration of suppliers.

Is this forum not meant to protect the consumer from mis-leading marketing? Why is it that there is a supplier who's name holds a word that is the biggest culprit???? "Health" hmmmmmmmm. Just saying. Take a look yourself.


ECF enforcement- please get back to the morals that first started this site, and don't give in to greed.

Wow Expert. Thats a pretty bold statement. I've only been around here a couple of months but I think this is one of the tightest run forums I've seen. Oh by the way I've only been surfing and reading forums for close to 30 years.

I assume you are talking about Healthcabin. I don't think that name by itself is a health claim. Misleading maybe. Health claim no.

I've never seen that stated in any purpose listed by the owner. Perhaps he could chime in. But I've never either gathered from anything posted or stated that that is any part of an intended purpose of this forum. It may be that through communication of the many participants that it ends up serving that purpose but that is just a result of human interaction.

That is probably one of the most stupid statements made here in a while. First, to address the point above, there is nothing misleading about the word "health' having to do with ecigarettes. Well that is, unless you're from the FDA or a drug company that has a stake in not seeing the ecigarette become popular. ... Just saying...

Secondly, a company with that word in it's name has been around for quite a while so your comment about it 'becoming evident' is also just stupid. Sounds to me like you have a beef with the company or as above are a troll from outside.

LOL. Ah and a moralizing anti-capitalist at that! Should have known. Just what part of China do you live? Why not take up your beef directly with the company rather than smearing them in public with BS made up insinuations and the charge that the forum admins aren't doing their jobs. I think they may be doing their jobs soon.

The company you refer to has been a supplier here for many months.

When they first approached us, I did wonder whether the name was appropriate for the site, but my thinking was that the benefit to the membership outweighed the negatives caused by their name.

I don't think the name itself is likely to mislead consumers. It's the sales text that concerns me. If they had text that said : "perfectly healthy, no risks" etc, then yes, they'd not be welcome.

Greed doesn't come into it at all - we capped the sponsors at 80, and have had 40+ people waiting to sign up since. It would have been perfectly easy for me to say "no" to health cabin and to get another sponsor in.
