The Doctors had a program on this morning about the disease I have (RSD) which rarely ever gets much awareness. I was so happy
to see RSD get some TV air time today! Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy affects around 2 million Americans but there are so few people who have even heard of it. I try and push for more RSD awareness when I can.
It can take an RSDer up 5 years and up to 10 drs to finally get a diagnosis. There is no cure for RSD.
I've had this disease for 17 years.

Seriously, the needles is only about 1/4" long, you just pull up the scruff of their neck and it just goes in the loose skin there. She doesn't even know it. I was shocked myself. Who'da thought?

I can't help but wonder why so many people have these wacky nerve problems now a days. And by wacky I don't mean the person is wacky. How/why is the nervous system getting so wacked out? For so many people.

We had two cats with diabetes although one would go in and out. Very scary at first but then it really is pretty easy. Have to keep an on the count though and watch for too much insulin. (that can cause death quickly) One was overweight the other not. Again, why so many animals getting diabetes AND thyroid problems?

My bet is on DIET for everything. There is as much crap in animal food now as there is for humans. And we don't realize it even when we look for it.
