I've drilled out probably every RBA I've played with to 1/16"...... was wondering if any of you crazies have done the same to your RM2?

Well, my atties, including the RM2 are usually drilled to 1.5mm (1/16" is 1.588mm), because of the availability of the drill bit. I would like 1.4mm as an airhole, 1.5 is a tad too open, and 1/16" is even wider. So for me, no, 1/16" is too much.
off topic but im plannin on buyin one and dont like tight draw. what is the standard hole size? im using a hornet on my grand and its 1/16 and i concider that right on the border of being tight.

I'm one of the strange ones that have kept my 3 RM2's stock in the airhole size department. They're tight enough that it's rare for juice to drip out the hole, but loose enough for a great draw. I think widening it up would make the draw too loose for me.
A stock hornet has a much tighter draw than the stock RM2. I have drilled out my hornets, but no need for me to do that on the RM2. I thought the RM2 was airy when I got it, then found out I preferred it and then drilled the hornets accordingly. I still use 2 drilled hornets on minis.

well the hornet came used with the grand out of classifieds and was already drilled to 1/16inches. it sucks none of my hardware stores have metric drill bits! i will say u dont want to get to carried away, i have a nimbus with 2, 2mm airholes. yes its a cloud chaser, but at the cost of some flavor. boy did my ml/day usage go way up while using it. i mean it doubled!
Hornets are not 1/16. They are smaller. I know this for a fact because I thought the Hornet was too hard a draw so I drilled it out to 1/16 now I find it Too airy and wish I didn't mess with it. I believe the standard Hornet airhole is the same as the RM2.

I drilled one of my RM2's to 1/16". It's too much breeze for me, which was surprising because 1/16" was my preference on AGA's and IGO's.
So I got some wire gauge bits and drilled out a couple others to 55g (1.32mm) it's working pretty well so far.

My RM2 had a bit of a whistle to it while I was drawing vapor from it. I counter sunk the outer opening with a small carbide burr on a rotary tool. It's whistle-free now.
I drilled my RM2 to 1/16 and it's just right for me. Great draw and flavor here.
With these you can make the air hole any size you want.
Made mine a little larger on the RM's but still smaller then 1/16
