Hey, I recently got into RDAs and was wondering what drillbits i should use for drilling a 2nd air hole on my IGO-L. I tried 1/16 titanium and cobalt and both bits broke and I wasn't able to punch through. Anyone have any suggestions on what bit I should use or a technique to use when drilling?

Did the bits break when they were just breaking though the other side of the metal? If not, when did they break?
Use a cobalt bit, drill medium speed at around 600rpm. And use cutting oil. Water better. And once you start, don't stop, keep the pressure on.
I have a cheap drill bit set nothing broke. I went one size bigger than the stock hole slowly then went the next size bit.
Warning: You know you have the vaping bug when you go out an buy a drill press just to keep up with your vaping hardware modding...
P.S. Dremel makes one but the Dremel stuff has too much runout for my liking....

@AttyPops my drill is 10+ years old and so were the drill bits lol i only bought 1 new cobalt one for 2$ good enuf for me

This is extremely helpful as I'll be having to drill out my V10 RDa once I recieve it from fasttech and was wondering about this info myself. Thank you.

In addition to what' been said here, make sure you apply as close to perfectly perpendicular force when you are pushing down. And don't push very hard. 1/16" bits are really prone to snapping in half if there is any lateral pressure on the bit. A bit should never bend while youre drilling.
the igo is made with vapetonium and is impervious to drilling.

Well I guess a cobalt bit is overspec'd for a thin walled vapetonium iGo-L cap 
Just trying to suggest the right tool for the job, especially when the time comes to venture on thicker SS like real modding a Mods. I did one, drilling 5/16" SS using a cheapo HF hand drill (not press).
A real nice, cheap, all solid brass contact Mod. Problem: No battery vents.
Drill, drill, drill .... Viola!
