I have the worst time understanding him so maybe I missed something but isn't this the same as using a sealed adapter with a drip sleeve? If so those are widely available and much less expensive. Considering that, I MUST be missing something. Personally, I can't use them as I don't like a tight draw. I can't even handle a cone on an ego.
