Drip-smoking or Cartridges?

All of us start with cartridges, but a lot of people switch to drip-smoking.

I've been vaping about 4 months, and I drip-smoke.

How about you? How long have you been vaping, and do you drip or use cartridges.

One of these days I gotta try that, it seems like a good method.

Mostly drip, I find I get better hits that way.

If you need to drive or something though I would suggest carts.

(and filled) carts on the 510/others, and dip (no, not drip) on the 401. Occasionally but rarely drip with the 510s..just don't really 'need to.'

I prefer the cartridges myself. I top those off but I don't need to do it as often as if I just dripped.

I guess I'm not too clear on "dripping". When I top-up my cartridge on my 510, I usually place a drop or two of juice on the atomizer as well.

I tried "dripping" without any filler in the cartridge once, but did not like it.

So, am I "dripping" or not if I'm putting a couple of drops on the atomizer as I top-up my cartridge?

Im just using carts right now with the VX2 which is my first e-cig, its not recommended to drip on the atomizers because of the V shape of the atomizer but as soon as i buy something else i want to see how i like dripping

I drip to test a new flavor but always use cartridges. I fill up 4 every morning before I leave for the day and that will last me all day with spare for the unplanned.

I only drip when mixing new flavors for the first time. It's easier to test it and make changes without wasting clean carts. Once I find the right mix I write the recipe down for future use.

801 - put a couple of drops on the atomizer if it's new or recently drained, play and fiddle with cartridges the rest of the time. Buy new cartridges when I need more to play with, but refill them myself with a syringe. I think that if I had a 901, I'd be dipping instead of messing with carts.

I drip to try a new flavor too, but use carts on a regular basis.

I don't think you can dip a 901.

I threw in the towel with cartridges. After many experiments, I have found no difference in life span so look as preservation measures are employed---and by that I do not mean "cleaning"----big difference---Sun

I'm in the same boat, Sun. Some people say that dripping shortens the life of an atomizer, but I haven't seen it. I used the same 2 atomizers in an 801 for 3 months without a problem, just doing a weekly cleaning and "burn-off" like ExoGenesis uses. I've since switched to a 510.
