Hi All,

Is your 510 drip tip O-ring getting swollen? Is it had to put in your carto or atty? Well for .10 to .65 cents you can refurbish that drip tip. There are 3 measurements that define this o-ring, 1) Inside diameter (ID), 2) Outside diameter (OD), and Cross section, sometimes called width (CS). The one that works with most 510 drip tips is metric, not SAE. It is 1.5mm CS x 6mm ID x 9mm OD. It can be found many places online. I got mine at my local Ace hardware store. They had a drawer with tons of sizes. Just take in or web search for 1.5mm CS x 6mm ID x 9mm OD.

I hope this helps someone. It sure helped me with my "New Member posts" :)

Welcome , and that's good to know info . most people rob other drip tips for the o-rings , when the one's on their favorite breaks or wears out . I think there might even be a vendor out there that sells a package of them for replacements . Just don't remember where I saw it . But now people can go to the hardware store and just buy some . Thanks

CCV sells them 10/$4..I think that is even less than you can get them at Lowe's. Don't know about Ace though..

CS) 1.5 mm = 0.059055118
ID) 6 mm = 0.23622047
OD) 9 mm = 0.35433071 in

CS) 1/32 in = 0.03125
ID) 9/32 in = 0.28125
OD) 11/32 in = 0.34375

That is better

Yes, they are a few hundredths of an inch different. I think that is within the Chinese QC specs!

Relax, Enjoy!

FYI, Home Depot, Lowes, and most auto parts stores just carry the SAE sizes. But Ace or True value or similar hardware stores have the metric available. In Texas they were $0.65. If you buy on line you can get 100 for about $10.00. Or at Madvapes for $0.30 a piece (there currently out of stock). Really with the availability, no reason not to get the exact metric size. 1.5mm CS x 6mm ID x 9mm OD

I have "cooked" a few on my Trippy Tips, they have gotten hot enough that over time they have broken down and fallen apart. I use the glass drip tip from Hot Vapes a good but as well, these don't use an o-ring at all yet have a good tight fit, in fact I can pick up my ProVari buy the drip tip without it coming loose.
