Drip Tippers please read

Ok I have A Joye ego from cignot and resently purchased a drip tip thought I would try it normally use carts. Any how my problem is barely any vapor when I do it atty is fine can slap a cart on and every thing is fine so is the batt. I have dripped 3 drops through the tip and 3 drips right on the bridge and barely any vapor I do get a little but its such a small amount I'm not getting a hit of the juice I just dripped.I have even gone on youtube and looked at the drip tip videos and dont see me doing any thing there not is it a different draw then drawing on a cart what could I be doing wrong???????????

3 drops in the tip AND 3 drops right on the atty is way too much. Less liquid should equal more vapor in your case. Also you don't need to remove the tip to drip anymore. That's what drip tips are for

Yes, you are overfilling it. Just drop 3 onto the atty using a drip tip, thats all you need.

Yeah you gotta find the sweet spot. In general, I put 5-7 drops into a dry, empty atty. Then I get about 3 big drags... Which would probably be about 8 normal analog style puffs. Then drip 1-2 more drops thereafter to refill.

Finding the "sweet spot" is key because too little = burnt taste and not enough = flooded atty/mouthful of juice/no vapor.

Just keep at it. After a while its second nature. Kinda like a car with a broken gas gauge. After a while you just know when to fill it up...

Blow out the atty, if a bunch of liquid comes out, you are definitely overfilling.

ok sorry in my original post at least I thought I said I only put 2-3 drops period thru the drip tip little to know vapor and the atty isnt flooded . I have also tryed dripping directly on the bridge with the exact same result only 2-3 drips and the atty is not flooded. The only thing I can think of is removeing the bridge

Don't remove the bridge, if it works with a cart, we can figure this out. Try adding a couple more drops, listen for the sound, sizzle or gurgle? See if you have vapor. Sometimes I have to add 3, vape once, add 3 or 4 more to get it going.

when dripping it's good to clean out the cartridge if not totally at least blow the old liquid out. You'll notice that the liquid coming out of the end is dark in color and thicker.

I'm still scratching my head on this one. But I can tell you that in the past couple days, I've had 4 attys stop working. I think one is really dead -- still have it set aside for further investigation. So, I have 2 sitting in a PGA bath right now. Anyways, I did some fussing about with dripping just a little, trying to work up to good vape production while being sure I wasn't flooding -- even blew one out and got almost no juice so I know it wasn't flooded. Switched to a freshly flushed (PGA) atty, and did the same thing, no dice. Then I blew it out, flushed it again with PGA, and used a different juice. Bang. It's working fine.

I find this very odd, because the juice I was having trouble with is I think my 3rd 30ml bottle, and I haven't had any issues with it before. Makes me wonder what's happening. Maybe there's something in the flavoring that just needs to get purged out, and I shouldn't vape it steady for 2 days. I'm not going to say what juice, because I consider this anomalous. I have some new attys coming, and I might see what happens if I dedicate one of them to this particular juice.

Anyways, I'm wondering what happens in your case if you flush your atty out with PGA or vodka, blow it out, and prime it with 3 drops, then do a few very shallow puffs to just burn off the alcohol, then drip 1 or 2 drops.

I think he's just got to much liquid in his atty. Not to the flood gargle point. But just before that. Just vape it for ten or twelve puffs and see if vapor improves.

I have had the same issue of poor vapor when dripping with a regular atty and a 3.7v batt. If I drip with 5/6v PV then I get tons of vapor. Or if I use a LR atty and my 3.7v it works well too.

I have to wonder if the liquid he is using is a high VG content. I have had it happen before where the VG is just too thick to vaporize properly. Especially on a 3.7v battery.

Could be the resistance on the atty has CHANGED-- couple of my LR attys went that route (>3.4 ohms).
