Does anyone know if there are any drip tips that have baffles in them to eliminate spitting juice from reaching your mouth?

The idea would be to have two or three baffles on a wide drip tip the only constrict the flow to the level of a "regular" hole but overlap enough to prevent larger droplets of liquid from ever getting into your mouth.

If you know of anything please post a link.

I don't know what atty OP using but the occasional pop of juice in my mouth happens to me too. I'm using RM2 with orig drip tip which is pretty narrow. Doesn't happen often and a very small splash or drip or what ever you want to call it. When I tried using this atty with wide bore drip tip it happened very often. Went back to small bore and now it's only occasional.

So perhaps OP may want to try smaller bore drip top. They are easily removed for dripping in my opinion and it might help with the spitting.

i think it would be a cleaning nightmare you may want to try a longer drip tip instead
You clean your drip tips?

I don't, but if I did, I would probably just rinse them out with hot water.
That should work just fine.

Other than that, the topic of this post isn't such a bad idea.

what atty do you have that is spitting so badly?
Yeah, I use standard Joyetech 510 atomizers with the smallest "nice-looking" drip tips I can find.
I've never had any of these "spitting" issues that I sometimes see posted here.

EDIT: In the photo below, the second one from the left is my standard everyday setup...

The drip tip that comes with the 454's is basically what youre looking for, its designed to prevent 'direct' spitting.

No idea where to look for them separately, but the 454 clones are only $15.

FWIW, I use these Chrome Angled 510 Drip Tip Adapter with a slighly longer than normal drip tip. It's worked pretty well for me. I often draw too hard and don't think it's something I'll ever learn to do correctly all the time. :(

Oopsie, wide bore? Not going to work if you are dripping, lol.

I had problems with juice spitting bad when I first started building then figured out it was because I didn't do the cotton right... I also started out with wide bore drip tips and now I have moved on even more lol....

But in all seriousness wouldn't a smaller bore make it easier for the spitting juice to clump together and actually get it in your mouth? I'm not sure because only restrictive drip tip I have is on my Russian V2.... and I know your using a completely different setup but it has me wondering if I put my Russian DT on my RDA would it make the occasional spit back worse?

I use a genisis style, a magma (clone?), a couple of nautili, aspire BDC, and a handful of EVOD2's

While I don't have THAT much of a problem with it, It's one of those things that if you are looking to remove unpleasantness from the activity, well, it just sort of made sense. The drip tip with the side bore bottom should work just fine, and the bridge insert would certainly reduce the issue, if not eliminate it.

what i have found out is the when there is not enough space for air to circulate around the coil it will spit another contributing factor is the humidity the higher it is the faster moisture will condense in and around the coils or under the drip tip in the chimney or in the airflow system. as water vaporizes at such a different rate as pg/vg it will cause popping sometimes violent enough to move the cotton to make more space for airflow sometimes it solves itself but sometimes it makes it worse as it may cause a pocket in the wicking material for condensation to sit in. so as a preventative measure you can clean your drip tip regularly as well as under the drip tip as for the airflow areas such as the chimney that is more difficult but try to dry those areas out with a pipe cleaner.

Lemme see if I have this: You want a drip tip, that can't actually be used for dripping, because it has a baffle in it, that lets air out, but keeps liquids from escaping. Is that it?

From when I was a child that would have been the definition of a "510 cartridge" - with the polyfill removed.
