Rda dripping

For dripping with bottles without a dropper, how do you drip? I have syringes, but they squirt, not drip. It'd be nice to find a dropper I.can put a cover over the tip, like a syringe.

Carto tank

I had a terrible time with my last carto tank, but I found out the juice wouldn't wick well with anything, so I wanna try again. I have been eyeballing a poly tank from valley vapes. Will one of the tanks from there work well for someone just entering the realm of cartos? Any personal tips anyone can recommend? I have been searching and searching, and I just don't know lol.
What's the deal with lr and Sr carto? Just different ohm for dif batts/mods? Or does it drastically mess with the taste?

Using a tank tool like the one below, I drip juice on the tool to fill my tank. For a carto,if you stick a toothpick in the center and don't be preak it off, you can drip on it, too, And you don't have to blow juice out of the center tube of the carto when you are done.

ETA: i have the Pyrex version of that tank, and IBTanked, and some others. It just takes some practice to master. Badatitude has a blog post about this. He has a lot of great tips I still use myself. Sorry, don't have a link to it handy.

Baditude is the Guru if carto tanks. He walked me through my first set-up, although we fill cartos differently. ;)

I don't recommend that particular VVV tank if you are easily frustrated. I'm actually vaping one right now and use it more than of my others; you really can't beat the side-fill screw. The reason I don't recommend that tank is that it has grommets instead of caps and they are VERY tight. Pro: It's never leaked once in almost a year, even with a slice in the grommet somewhere; Cons: Why is there a slice? Because the grommets are too tight to use a SYM/tank tool and the grommet was sliced by the edge of the carto. Without a secure end cap it's difficult to get the carto in and the grommets to line up evenly, since they slide around inside the tube. Another pro: they still don't leak, but look weird if the grommets are misaligned. I've gotten used to it, but one of my friends hated her's so much she pif'd it. It's still a great tank for the price, but I wanted you to be aware. I use thin juice, so a carto lasts me about a week/week and a half, so it isn't that big of a deal.

It costs more, but If you don't feel like learning the grommet curve, the same tank is available with caps:

I also recommend against the grommet tanks for your first tanks. End caps are so much easier to work with in my opinion, as Ocelot said. I also highly recommend using some sort of tank accessory tool. My favorite one is the Slap Yo Moma from Big Daddy Vapor, but Valley View has a very similar tool (which I don't have) that is less expensive.

Cartotanks do have a slight learning curve compared to the clearomizers. A little knowledge, combined with a little experience, and you should be on your way to success. Just remember the most important step is properly priming the carto - how well you do this will affect how well that carto will perform for its lifetime in the tank.

Someone was already kind enough to link to my blog article on cartotank setup. Thanks itsrayray, Ocelot, and susieq.

Another friend got so frustrated she hit it with a hammer and ran screaming from the room when anyone even mentioned the words "carto tank."

That tank IS NOT for the faint of heart or the fumble finger that is me.

Love the grommet tanks! Been using mine for over a year now, no issue. There are videos on how to use them, but it's pretty easy. A bottle cap with a easy flow 14Ga. needle fills them very quickly.

Smoketech 1.7- 2.0 for small batts(ego), or Boge 1.6-2.0. For big batts most people like the 3.0 (smoketech, Boge).

Boge also has a new vertical slotted carto that might work better for vg users/heavy vapers.

Update, got a sidewinder from the classifieds.:thumbup:

Verrrrrry large tank lol. Pyrex is thick as hell. All stainless, I have black caps with red o rings ordered, as well as a tank tool, and some 2ohm boge carto.

Come with 5 dual coil smoke carto. I expected more vapor and taste from them, I get more from my protank coils. I'm running the 2.5ohm at 4.4v.

Love it, the Pyrex is super thick.
    Glad you like it :)
And about you expecting more vapor and taste I think over time you'll get better and better at Filling and the general use of cartos and tanks. It's easy but not that easy. There's a slight learning curve you'll get past in no time.

I prefer Boge Cartos. I have used the laser cut ones and i find them to not wick as well as the ones i punch myself. I punch two holes in each LR boge XL carto i have (minus the ones i punch three for my thicker juices)

I vape 2.2ohms mainly at around 4.2-4.4 volts.

When i prime my cartos i drip a few drops into the top on the filler, wait for it to soak and rinse and repeat. Its a longer method than say the condum method, but i prefer it as it fully saturates the filler. Once the juice level starts to soak in slowly, hold the carto up to your eye and look down the center shaft over top of a paper towel to see the white of it. If you can't she is full and just give her a single blow on to the towel to remove the drop or two of excess. Once primed, just use the slap yo mama toola n insert the carto into the tank.

Thats my basic step by step.

Bad's blog is the word to follow. Good man with great advice.
