I just got myself a 510 atomizer and a drip tip(I had the Joye 510 tank), so I am new to dripping. I just debridged it a few hours ago but yesterday when I bought it I was dripping my apple flavor in there before I had debridged it today. Now I cant tell if that apple flavor is still stuck in there or if thats just the burnt taste telling me to drip more in there. I thought that when you were using drip tips you could easily vape one flavor and then another one with no taste mixing? Also on a de-bridged atomizer how many drops do you guys put too I've seen a lot of varying answers.

get an hh357 from avid vaper HH.357 Long Barrel Hybrid 510 Atomizer - Avid Vaper

clean out is easy and if you follow the instructions on the website you will have no problems at all. i like the long barrel and have 2 of them....one is still sitting in my drawer as a backup. been there for a couple months...dang these last!

also from texas select Flavor Flush - Atomizer Cleanser | Texas Select Vapor
atomizer flush/cleaner, it works great!

Kinda pricey though what is the difference than the atomizer that I got? I don't think I like dripping very much lol i'm liking the tanks again, only problem is they leak. I want to get the ego twist and what do you guys recommend you get for a tank like the vivi mini but I need something small that can fit in my pocket. A few times my 510t in my pocket the button will get pressed down if somethings on my lap and it burned my leg and the juice was all burnt

this is just future thinking but to get started with the ego twist would I want to get a kit or just buy everything separate? I'm thinking I just need the ego twist battery and then a mini tank like the vivi nova and then I guess I would need a new charger because 510 charger wouldn't work with ego huh.

Get a rebuildable attie. The 'Pheonix' copy at DiscountVapers - Your source for savings on electronic cigarettes and accessories, Go-go eGo, vGo is a really good one for dripping. Just wash it out with water in between flavors.

I have not used too many regular atties for dripping simply because I don't drip very often, but when I have I've never been able to just switch flavors without the previous flavo holding on a while. Especially with strong flavors (coffee is the worst). Might try running water through it in between flavors, although I'm not sure how well it will work on a regular attie.

With any atty, juices may sometimes linger. You can blow it out to get as much of the old juice out of it or you can drop some PGA (e.g. Everclear - DO NOT USE isopropyl alcohol) in there and keep doing it until it blows clear. Some juices such as Cinnamon or Menthol may linger no matter how much PGA you blow through it.

I wouldn't recommend rinsing with water unless you do distilled water because you could get some mineral deposits left in your atty. However, the problem with water is that it takes longer for it to vaporize out than PGA.

I dont really like dripping, too much mucking about for me. I love the vv nova mini, its my bestfriend! they def dont leak and are rebuildable if you want to go down that road. I was really pulling my hair out before i found the nova i didnt look back after that.

Yeah I don't really like it either at least I tried ;). Can I use a vivi nova with my 510 XL batteries?

It is safe to rinse other things out with water right? I've been rinsing out my tanks and my filling needles and stuff with just tap water. I once read somewhere that you can get brain tumors from vaporizing water so that has always freaked me out. Something about people getting them from netty pots or something? I try to let everything dry real good before use though.

Not sure about the comment of breathing vaporized water... otherwise, it would be a big issue for people who drink hot cups of coffee/tea. People who use netty pots should only use distilled water anyway and only after nuking it in the microwave to kill whatever may be in it.

For the most part, it's not a big deal but it can reduce the life of your atty. Using tap water to clean tanks and stuff should be fine as long as you dry it out. I'd probably use a lint free cloth to remove most of the water and just let it air dry. Cartomizers, I don't recommend rinsing in either tap water or distilled water because it takes a long time to dry out the filler and if you let it sit for a long time, mold may develop .

I wanted to suggest using a 306 LR bridge-less atty with a drip shield and a derlin drip tip. I was trying to use 510s debridged and they flood instantly, then give 3 good hits, then burn the juice. 306 in this setup is sooo forgiving and awesome. No leaking, hard to flood, moist thick, flavor vape, it's awesome. With tanks or anything else you will lose flavor...

there is a big difference from one atty to another and like some other people said a debridged 510 will flood and leak easier. hh357 or 306 attys will outperform just about any other atty. They last a long time and the flavor and vapor they put out is amazing, that being said I only use rebuildables now but don't give up on dripping, 510 attys just aren't that good.

Drippin' is all I do 3.7, 4.3, 5.0 volts on joyetech 510 atties, Io6 atties at different resistances. I don't bother debridgin' them or otherwise altering their design. I vape heavy VG juice and when the atty clogs up fer good I clean them ultrasonically with 95% isopropyl alc. I drip all day at work and all night at home it is the most consistant performance and taste for me. I guess you can get used to anything but if I am gonna vape I want the best taste outta my juice. Yeah I drip n' drive and no I don't get dry hits and yes I rotate out 4 to 5 flavors a day. If juice inventory is not an issue for you; I blow out the excess, drip the new juice and let it sit a bit and blow that out too, then 4 or 5 more drops and vape that smoke wagon til I get tired of that juice. Rinse and repeat.
