I just dripped for the first time in a 510 atomizer and was wondering how to clean it? Also with 2 drops of eliquid how many puffs can I take? Do I just do it til that last one is disgusting and burnt tasting?thanks

I'm excited to try dripping myself (yes, I am aware that I sound like an excited school girl in the body of a 28 year old man). Never had the opportunity to try it with my current set-up (obviously. 510 cig-a-likes). Once my Kangers get here (Tuesday), I'll have access to a beefy enough battery to actually do it. Looking forward to the wide world of financial destruction that my hobby will lead to. =P

How often would you clean yours, cuz it looks like it needs it after only dripping 2 drops of 2 different flavors....lol but that just would give me some idea. Thanks again
you will get your dripping method figured out with a little practice. You can use alcohol, hot water, some baking soda and a little vinegar. to clean.

Granted, I don't drip, but when I smoked a pipe, I used to always season/clean the bowl of my briar pipe with whiskey. I've heard Everclear (the alcohol, not the "musician") works a treat as well.

Check this out The Ocelot answers all your questions. and riseabove, you can drip with the cigalikes. They put out as much power as the big batts, just not for long.
If changing to really different flavors i would give it a quick rinse under water and gently burn dry while pulsing
the button. However i would mostly just carry on with new flavor... The old one will disappear pretty soon.
Dripping in RDAs nowadays... but there's certainly nothing wrong with a good 510 or 306. Beats pretty much everything short of RDAs.
Yeah, I guess that's what I meant. The manufacturer of my cig-a-like rates it as a 150mAh battery, whereas my EVOD battery will be 900mAh. So you're right, it's longevity that I'm referencing, not output power. I've been set straight once again.

This is all good information. You guys are the best. I bought some 510's on line but did not realize that I needed to get drip tips too so until I get those my dripping adventure still eludes me.
Use a standard plastic cart. It's just that you have to remove it to drip, then put it back on. I use them sometimes anyway since they are great to avoid e-juice in mouth syndrome. Some people trim the flat part off the end to avoid heating it on the bridge and melting plastic.
Yes. It's the coil that gunks up. Dripping or no. All coils gunk.
I usually drip 3 drops, vape about 10 hits, drip 3, vape 10, .......YMMV depending on juice/watts/rig/hit-style. You'll learn when the taste changes and the vape thins out...re-drip.
A bridgless atty is the same thing with out the SS screen on top of the coil. Because of how we make vapor all of our stuff will need cleaning sooner or later. But things like cartomizers are disposable. You can get quite a bit of life from a dripping atty but eventually it will get used up and you will have to replace it.
