I know I've heard some people on here that drip using an 808. I've started dripping directly into cartos that I've ripped out the poly fill, and so far it's pretty awesome. But as you can imagine, with no drip tip I end up with tons of burning nic juice in my mouth half the time. My direct question is, do regular 510 drip tips fit the 808 cartos once the rubber piece is removed? I tried to build Dr. Vapor's homemade drip tip with a pen, but it didn't fit. I just don't want to order one without knowing if it'll fit. Thanks as always guys.

I do it all the time/ I just cut a small hole in the end of one of the rubber caps (condoms) and use that as a drip tip. U can just put it on the open 808 cart but not push it all the way on.. . You do get a little bit of hot juice in the mouth from time to time though.
This really depends on what cartos you are using. For example, the WOW cartos from V4L are a little wider than their CoolCarts. If you are using standard, generic cartos, I'm pretty sure that the 510 drip tips may not fit but the 901 drip tips should. You can use 901 atty and carts on an 808 battery so I would assume the drip tip would work as well since it is the same diameter. I have not tried it so maybe someone who has can chime in.
I intend to try the rubber cap drip method. My thinking is that I can cut the hole to be the right size so the tip of the juice bottle will fit in it and I can drip down the side without taking the cap off. Then, hopefully, no drips or liquid where I put my mouth.

That is how I do it exactly.. although pulling the rubber cap off to drip in is no big deal at all ;-)
The only time I really get juice in my mouth is if I put in too much and some of it goes down the tube to the heating element..
it will then boil and pop out at you....
Oh am I not supposed to be dripping right on the element? That's what I had been doing. So just drip it down the side?
