I personally don't clean my atomizers, I just blow all the liquid out occasionally. When putting a new flavor in I blow the old one out, then drip a few drops of the new one in and then blow that out too. That helps with getting the old flavor out. Then I begin dripping with the new flavor. Sometimes though there are certain juices that will linger in the atty for a while but i've only had one that did that and I didn't like it to begin with lol

What do you already have? An eGo battery could get you started, add to it either a 306 atty with a 306 drip tip, or a 510 atty and tip. I personally use bridgeless atomizers, to me they have the least horrible taste if you get a dry hit and I feel as if I do not need to clean between flavors. Put your new atty on the battery, add your tip, drip about 4 drops and let is sit a minute, drop 2 - 3 more and hit it a few time without inhaling. Top it off with 2 or 3 and go to town...you will quickly learn when you will need another 2 or 3 drops more. If you like the dripping, invest in a drip shield and it will make your experience alot more cleaner and enjoyable. When I want to change flavors, I just vape it down to about when I feel another few drops is needed and drip in my next flavor, after one or two times I can't taste the old flavor anymore.

To clean, I just run my kitchen sink on full hot and hold my attys under the stream. After a few minutes I blow through the threaded end into a towel, give em a brief dry burn in needed and start from step one as if it were new.

*this is just my meager experience, YMMV

You may want to search these forums (or a enter in a search engine) brigeless atomizers. I personally prefer a Drip-O-Mizer (basically a bridgelss atty) to drip. I love the ones I've gotten from Liberty Flights. There are many other suppliers who offer these type of atty's made for dripping. The Drip-O-mizer I use for my 510 doesn't usually have a problem with flavor switching unless I vape something really strong like menthol or a very strong fruit flavor. I just put 3 drops of e-liquid in it and go. For me it's easy to tell when I'm through with the current flavor. I usually will only get a minimum of "crossover" flavor, again, when I drip strong flavored e-liquid

I started out dripping directly onto the bridge of the atty that came with my 510. You also will want to check out drip tips.
One basic rule I know of is that you cannot drip to an 808 because of the hole in the end of the battery.

i recently got an hh357 atty and love it, didnt think id wanna drip but thats what i ended up doin.
its an expensive atty but its been goin strong for a month and i circulate all kinds of juice through it.
i just cleaned it for the first time with bacardi 151.
other than that every once in a while i blow it out into a paper towel, cleans out the burnt liquid
also have a drip shield from empire mods, works great, keeps it from leaking

This thread has convinced me to fgive the 306 attys a try. I've got two on the way for my 510 and am very interested in how they perform.

My last batch of Drip-O-Mizers was less than impressive; I'm looking forward to trying these new attys.

Thank you all (or as we say here y'all!) for your feedback.

I have been dripping on and off for 3 years. I tried all the caromizers, clearomizers, etc. Now I'm back to dripping/blue foam. Just about what I started with.

I don't clean them ever, that is almost always an easy way to end up with a funky flavor and spending an hour puffing away at something that tastes terrible. Just vape it till it's not really hitting much and drip a couple drops on to the bridge. Hit that a few times and the flavors will change over to your new juice. Keep separate atties for strong flavors like menthol or whatever seems to linger.

Three years ago there was huge debate on how to clean atties and keep them fresh and blah blah blah. There must have been a hundred different ways to "fix" an atty. I think they were all a waste of time.
