I have been vaping for about a year or so and I love it. I have stacks of 901 and 510 parts, that is not a good thing. It seems manual batteries either quit or the little button gets jammed in and I end up smoking it with a paperclip like a crackhead. The other thing that drives me crazy are the leaks and the mess involved in the refill process. So here comes the question....finally.

I have been reading about cartomizers and they seem to be much "cleaner" and less of a mess to deal with. Is this true?

If so since I have been out of the scene for a while what's a good solid well made manufacturer of this type. I know there are ecf vendors and all of that, I am really looking for a dependable long lasting kit. Money is not an option, but size is. I don't want to smoke a cig the size of a prius.

I am going to sound like a fangirl, but gotvapes has some really great products. I am currently vaping a new product called a vision stone. A 5ml tank mod using ce2 sorts of guts but with screw on top and bottom. They also have a new product a vision stardust which is an ego top coil that is almost wickless. And it's mouth piece is sealed and screws on. I am vaping it upside down with no leaks. My favorite before this was the vision mini, which really had very few leaks. All three are very easy to fill and to use requiring little to no modding.

I am sure there are other products that are great too, it's just these are what I am comfortably using having previously been suffering with leaking crackomizers.

There is actually Two types of Cartomizers. Filler Type and Non-Filler Type.

Most people when they say "Carto" are referring to the Filler Type.

Filler Type Cartos are Dead simple to Fill. Don't Leak if Filled Properly. Require Little or No Maintenance and Give a Decent Hit.

Non-Filler Type Cartos are Somewhat Harder to Fill. Usually Don't Leak. Require a Certain Amount of Maintenance BUT give a Much Better Hit.

So it's Kinda a Trade Off.

Some people just want the Easiest to use Carto. For them I would Recommend a Filler Type Carto. For 510 Users, the Boge 2.0 Soft Tip Cartos are what I liked the Best.

For Others, who Want the Best Hit they can get, I would Recommend a XL CE2 in 2.6~2.8 Ohms.

It just gets down to what you Want out of a Hit and how much Time & Effort you Want to put into it.
