**The baby, for those who have limited time:
Are you supposed to burn off drop-ins somehow, like you do when you make your own coils? Every time I burn off a new hand wrapped coil, I think to myself "man I'm glad I didn't inhale that noxious smoke!"
Now I have a new drop-in rig, and I wonder, do they burn these off in the factory?
**The delivery, for those with less pressing time constraints:
So for the past couple of years I've been recoiling EVOD tanks- I know, not probably highly regarded here, just a cheap plastic clearo - but they've never failed me, are easy to re-coil, and hit like a truck with some high nic juice. I'm not into cloud chasing, I just want a convenient, reliable mouth-to-lung nicotine delivery mechanism. I also dabbled with a Kafun clone long ago, and the Kanger Topbox Mini for about 6 months, but actually liked the EVOD more overall. And I religiously burn off the coils with a butane torch lighter before I seat them (if you burn em' off seated they can melt the little rubber seals in the coil housing).
Anyway, for awhile I've been wanting to get back into flavors that may crack plastic, limited juice options being my only real complaint with the EVOD. Plus the sirens call of convenient drop-ins started to sound in my head: It's so eeeeasy, when the coil's cashed you just drop a new one it, they're really pretty cheap especially compared to analogs...that kind of thing.
So, I dug around and came up with the Kabuki 510 with 1.8 Nauti coils. Had it for a week now, and I gotta say it's a beautiful tank that hits beautifully. But what about burn-off? It's not something I ever thought about back in the day, but now that I've spent a few years making my own coils I worry about it with drop-ins...
