Dropped my setup

I can't believe I dropped my setup! I feel like it literally JUMPED out of my purse. The top of my Kaos Spectrum is popped up (it's not supposed to do that), and the coil on my Cloud Beast King broke in two pieces. At least the glass didn't break. But anyway, I have no more coils to replace the one that broke because I'm waiting for them to come in, so I'm having to use my smok Stick V8 with the Big baby beast on it until I get my new mod and the coils come in. It's SUPER frustrating. Like I have a backup mod, but I ran out of coils. I could've sworn I had some. But apparently not! Anybody else drop their setup and had to wait for multiple parts of it to come in at different times?

One thing we learn pretty quick as vapers is to have plenty of backup stuff of EVERYTHING. I haven't broke anything yet, but I'm sure it's bound to happen at some point, and prepared if/when it does.

Sorry that happened and glad you at least have something until your stuff arrives. :)

I have dropped my MOD when running a Quick Errand on a Holiday to have a Brand New SS/Glass tank crack and did not bring a back up with me! Never do that anymore but what the real kicker was I broke a Stainless Steel Mesh Tank with a drop to the pavement getting out of the truck. Forgot I laid it in my lap.

This is why we have back-ups, then back-ups for our back-ups, then back up replacement glass, then back-up tanks, then back-up glass for our backup glass. .. then of course back-up batteries, back-up coils for our backup coils..

Once that's done, you'll never break anything again! Hahaha

You broke a Cloud Beast coil? That thing didn't just jump out of your puse. It must have launched like a cruise missile and after reaching near orbit, it plummeted to earth at terminal velocity.
It seriously hit the concrete at 100mph! Funny thing is, my drip tip didn't even crack or smash into a million pieces (I've done that once, and it was brand new, and my favorite color!). I guess because it didn't fall tip first, that it must've hit in another place to break the coil in half. I've never seen such a thing, and I've been vaping almost 5 years!

Yeah, I'll probably never see a coil break like that again lol

I think most of us have dropped our mod and at least once at a most inopportune time. The worst part it happens in slow motion and there is nothing you can do but watch it happen.
I had my back turned to this drop! I could've sworn it was safely deposited in my purse, then WHAMO~CRASH~CLINK and my whole setup was done for!

Here's the damage and my Jerry-rigging of my mod. I can still use it, but it freaks me out! So I broke myself this week and ordered a new one, in holographic rainbow no less! If they'd have had purple, it would've been another story. I'll post the pic of my pretty new one when I get it after this weekend. In the meantime, here's my mess up.

I just wanna know why it only happens when I'm using one of my really nice Ming drip tips!!!!!!!!
Yeah, same experiences here. I used to love fancy pyrex and real stone drip tips; not any more. They're too expensive to replace.

I drop my gear more often than I want to admit. I'm lucky I've never broken a mod (thank you Provari, JAC Vapour, and mech mods) or a tank/RDA. I've lost a couple of acrylic Cherry Vape Cloudchaser drip tips when they went flying and disappeared into the void, but I always have a backup at home.

I have two backup mods, three backup tanks, replacement packs of all of the coils they use, and a bag of old drip tips.

:rules: Backups for your backups!

I'm sure you'll drop something eventually! How long have you been vaping? It'll be 5 years for me in March 2018. I've dropped plenty of my stuff, but this one was a doozy! I've always had backups, even if they're a lesser mod and tank, it's still a backup. I have other tanks too, but I don't have any more coils, so it doesn't matter that I have another tank to use. I have other flavors in these other tanks, but it's not the same as vaping your fave flave. I didn't plan on running out of coils so fast, but I guess when you're a constant vaper your coil will crap out quicker.

I drop mine only occasionally, but I do have backup tanks, except they have other flavors in them besides my favorite. What's really screwing me is that I ran out of coils unexpectedly. I do have a backup mod, I bought it from my 18 year old daughter for $20 (Smok R80, it's pretty badass even though it doesn't look it! It's red, and the paint is all chipping off, but who cares? It's a backup!) right after our vacation with my mom and dad, and my son to the Dominican Republic. I used that R80 the whole trip, and man does it hold a charge for a long time!

That is fine workmanship on the repair, just be sure that boot/shoe lace? doesn't exert enough pressure on the power up button to raise the wattage unexpectedly/automagically.

Just over two years vaping for me. Congrats on getting on to five years, that's awesome!
