I managed to drop my vamo in a sink full of water last night. I yanked it right out and it was showing Cb on the screen. I whipped the battery out, dried the vamo off and stuck it in the food dehydrator overnight at the lowest heat setting. It seems to be working just fine now, but my question is about the battery that was in it.
The battery didn't get super wet. Actually, I couldn't see any moisture on it at all. I stuck it in a pan of kitty litter that I had laying around for a previous emergency electronic dunking event (ipad fell in the tub, no more watching netflix in the tub for me). Is there anything I should worry about with the battery? It's a Panasonic 18650ch.
By the way, the iPad is fully functional now. That was a big relief. The touch screen totally spazzed out after it's bath and it took it about a day and a half to dry out. Once it did, it worked fine. Whew!
