Dropped Ultrafire 18650 Battery - Should I use it?

I dropped my 18650 battery today. It still works but I noticed it is slightly smashed on the negative end. Is it safe to still use it?

If it were me I'd still use it. But I'm reckless like that.

I mean, if it's not leaking and it's operating well.. it should be fine.

But, if there is any doubt in your mind about the safety of that battery, please just don't use it. This is a judgement call on your end.. Unless you show us pictures of the battery itself we have no way of knowing the extent of the damage done. In the end I would say that if it makes you uneasy, set it aside and use a new one.
