Hi, Recently noticed a recurring pattern that my atomizer dries out overnight. For instance, this morning when I first fired up my Provari, I got the E8 error which some have indicated occurs when at atomizer is dry. (Hopefully, this error will not persist). Anyway, last night I meant to simmer / run through hot water my atomizer before going to bed so that when I wake up it has less e-juice resent in the chamber to dry out. But anyway, after getting the E8 error, I completely filled my atomizer with e-juice and let it sit for about 5 minutes. The ejuice leaked out the bottom, I blew out the rest and resumed vaping as usual. This procedure got me thinking if there are other methods of "moisturizing" a dried out atomizer or even prevent this from happening. Do you have a nightly routine to take care of the vaper-ware? :p (no pun intended). I was even thinking of getting a humidifier and storing my atomizer in there. Thoughts? Thansk!

I always add a few drops to an atomizer or whatever I'm using in the morning. Never considered it a problem. There may be some that are more picky about how they store their equipment at night, but I don't do anything to it. It sits where I put it down before bed, though once in a while I'll unscrew the battery so it isn't slowly losing charge overnight.

PG doesn't evaporate very fast. I've had a tiny plastic cup of it open on my desk for over a week and it still looks the same. I wanted to see if it would mold and am rather surprised it doesn't even seem to be evaporating.

Put a few drops on your atomizer before bed or storage and you'll be fine. There is a reason why manufacturers use it as a primer for new product.

Do you live in the desert? Overnight seems pretty fast for it to dry out.

One solution is cartomizers

The first month I vaped I used atomizers and sometimes mornings were bad. One time I had to fight with it for 40 minutes to get my first decent drag. Then I started using cartomizers (simple 1ml Boge 510 and for KR8 either V4L or now Bloog) and I bought spare batteries and leave the spares set up overnight, ecigs just laying them sideways and I get up in the morning and can just pick them up and vape. I keep the cartos damp with liquid and get 7-10 days use out of each. I use atomizers for testing new juices and occasional dripping.
