if you vape a lot can it effect your eyes?

It never has for me, but the most I have ever vaped was about 5 ml a day. vaping does dry us out a bit. If in doubt, try drinking more water. Could also be a reaction to one of the ingredients, PG, VG or the flavorings. Could also be allergy season hitting.

Yes, the PG does tend to dry you out. You need to drink even more water when vaping than you used to, I still have this problem! I tend to drink a lot, but it's not water! I've been vaping a lot more than normal here lately and have to wake up and open/close my eyes several times to get them re-hydrated again. Just add another 3-4 glasses of water a day and you should be fine.

Mine are sometimes dry upon waking in the a.m. I found that if I put eye drops in at bedtime it seems to help. Good luck & VAPE ON

I have the same problem, though there are many factors. If I haven't had much sleep over the past few days, I'm more susceptible to dry eyes when vaping. Even though I am hydrating to the point that the water is just running through me, my eyes just can't seem to produce tears to lubricate my eyes. For me at this point, using eye drops only helps for a few minutes, then its back to dry eyes.

I say, hydrate well and get enough sleep!

I've been fighting dry eyes too but I don't think it's just from vaping, though it's probably contributing to it. Along with all the computer and close up work and getting old I now have to carry a bottle of eye drops with me at all times.

My eyes get extremely dry, particularly at night, which is when I vape the most. I'm new to vaping, but am already on 100% VG because of adverse reactions to PG. However, now I find that even the small amounts of PG in the flavorings bother me as well. At this point, I'm not sure if the dry eyes are being caused by PG or VG. I do know though, that I have to drink a TON of water in order to lessen the dry-eye effect, but even then, it doesn't completely go away. Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks!

I typically never had problems with dry eyes before vaping, but now sometimes I do. I think that staring at ECF contributes just as much as vaping does, if not more, though. I've used eye drops a few times, too. Additionally, I wonder if some of the flavorings contribute, as Atomic Fireball, for example, is very potent and if I don't blow the vapor away from my eyes, it can be a bit irritating.
